I paid $1,200 for my wedding video and it is AWFUL

A bride has revealed she’s cringed at her wedding video featuring “shaky” footage from her special day, commenting that she felt “ripped off”.

Brooke Covey23, from Nashville, Tennessee, took to TikTok to complain about her wedding video that was filmed and edited by the wedding videographer she hired.

And while she was promised a high-resolution 4K clip with expert editing, she was “swindled” with a video with poor quality footage.

In a viral video, which has been viewed more than 1.7 million times, Brooke shared footage of the special day when she and her husband, Caleb, 23, tied the knot, while complaining about the camera work.

“He told me it was 4K, it doesn’t even have 400 pixels on it, he told me he thinks it’s the best quality he’s ever done [and] I put in 30 hours of editing so I just want to see if I’m crazy and what everyone thinks,” he said at the start of the clip.

She then showed the video that started with her rehearsal dinner.

The clip showed a few moments of her “five hour” rehearsal dinner before she went straight to her ceremony.

A video of the clip showed the bridesmaid walking down the aisle before suddenly disappearing out of nowhere as “Casper the ghost.”

Brooke zoomed in and showed viewers the poor quality of the video, which she called “shaky.”

The video stopped just as Brooke walked down the aisle. “Look at the shakiness,” the bride said.

Brooke complained about the music the videographer added to the clip of her walking down the aisle.

“What the hell is that?” Brooke said.

In addition to the music being something she would never have chosen for her special day, the bride also said the audio was completely off.

‘The audio doesn’t match. What we say has nothing to do with moving our mouth. He didn’t even aim at us,” she revealed.

And those weren’t the only times the video failed.

The bride and groom’s first dance was shot from afar, making it grainy, Brooke fell for a moment and he didn’t edit, and he even stayed in an awkward encounter Brooke had with the photographer.

While leaving Brooke and Caleb’s reception, their guests held up sparklers as they hugged each other for a sweet photo.

At one point, the photographer asked the couple to do it again to get additional shots.

Instead of editing the clip of the bride and groom walking back and forth and glancing at the camera as they chat with the photographer, he kept it inside.

Brooke revealed that she paid a whopping $1,200 for the videography package, which the person they initially hired said was between $800 and $1,000.

“He said the only reason it would be $1,000 is if he hacked us. And he didn’t even aim for us and ended up charging us $1,200,” the bride said.

After being horrified by the production of her wedding, Brooke confronted the videographer.

“He said this is the best work he’s done, he spent 30 hours editing this, he put a lot of work into it, he’s never had a complaint and that’s why he doesn’t feel it’s that bad as we say. Brooke revealed.

The videographer even thought he should have asked the newlyweds for “$4,000.”

Brooke begged for viewers’ opinions on the clip, with thousands of people slamming the wedding footage, even comparing it to “security camera footage.”

“It looks like security camera footage!” one person said.

Another user said, “Did he use a Ring camera?”

“As someone who works in the wedding photography industry, I cry for you,” another person said.

One user added, “This looks like my dad was filming with our $50 camera circa 1996.”

“Give your money back omg,” another person commented.
