Nika realized that her opinion was ‘unpopular’ and could cause controversy.
However, she claimed that by arguing in front of her children, she was teaching them skills in conflict resolution.
To justify her reasoning, Nika said, “It is important that children learn to deal with healthy conflict.”
The couple allowed their children to watch them argue “respectfully” to “work toward resolution and unity.”
She concluded, “This helps them establish healthy conflict resolution as they grow.”
In the video, Nika and her partner appeared to exchange some angry words while two of their children were present, although what they said was not audible in the footage.

A third added: ‘I think children can witness disagreements/conversations, not arguments/fights.’
A fourth said: ‘Real healthy communication!! if it’s not healthy, don’t do it in front of the kids, please…from personal experience it causes a LOT of anxiety.”
