‘I just wanted to protect my kids’: Fearless mother who bravely battled motorcycle thugs after one of them stomped on her car and smashed through her rear window while her children, 5 and 2, were in the backseat, speaks out

The fearless Philadelphia mother who stared down an armed motorcyclist who stomped on her car and broke her rear window is speaking out about the incident.

The incident took place outside City Hall on Sunday evening. The video, taken by a tourist, shows the motorcyclist hitting Nikki Bullock’s car and eventually stomping on it, smashing through the rear window.

Bullock said NBC Philadelphia that she and her partner’s children, 5 and 2, delivered food for Uber Eats. “I just wanted to protect my kids,” Bullock said in the aftermath of the terrifying encounter that left no one seriously injured.

After their first interaction, the motorcyclist pulled a gun on 23-year-old Bullock.

“It was a small gun and at that point my windshield was already broken, so what was he really going to do to me?” she added.

The dent in Bullock’s car that started the whole altercation

Bullock said the dispute started when she changed lanes around the horde of bikers. “They’re not paying attention to the lanes. They just do something. So I turn into the lane and it just hits the side of the car,” she said.

The pair exchanged words, and then the motorcyclist began attacking her car, prompting her to exit the car and confront him head-on.

‘He jumped up here with both feet. He put his first foot down. It didn’t work, so he was like… and went through it.” In the video, the motorcyclist falls while jumping through the windshield.

As he gets out of the car, something that looks like a gun falls out of his pocket. He picks it up just as Bullock appears. The pair exchanged more words as the motorcyclist reversed. He even headbutts her, while wearing a helmet, before pointing the gun at her.

Bullock stands his ground and even pushes the biker off his bike when he tries to flee the scene.

“I’m just grateful that my kids are doing well. There’s not a scratch on it. It was just the simple fact that I had kids in the car. I just wanted to protect them fairly,” Bullock said.

In a separate interview with ABC Philadelphia, “(The kids) are fine. Not a single scratch. I have a guardian angel. Thank God.’

Bullock told me earlier CBS Philadelphia that the children in the car were crying during the altercation.

“The only thing that protected my children from having glass fall on them was that my rear window was tinted,” she told the partner.

The images were taken by George Coney who visited the so-called City of Brotherly Love from Florida.

“I just started filming a video of all the bikers, and next thing you know, this guy jumps out and jumps on this lady’s car,” Coney told NBC 10.

“If he goes that far, things have gotten so out of hand that many people could have died in an instant,” he said.

Philadelphia Police released photos appears on Monday to show the suspect. It has been reported that they have a person of interest in the incident.

“Justice will be revealed and it is only a matter of time,” Bullock told CBS Philadelphia. She also said that despite the public’s generosity, the repairs have already been paid for.

“Justice will be revealed and it is only a matter of time,” Bullock said.

“If that person is caught and I have the opportunity to charge that person, we will move very vigorously,” District Attorney Larry Krasner said.

When discussing the problems of dirt bikes and ATVs on city streets, Krasner said police are in a difficult situation because police cannot regularly pursue high-speed vehicles through city streets.

The prosecutor did say that the strategy to stop the large-scale use of the vehicles is a matter of technology, including eavesdropping.

‘This has to stop. Anyone out there riding those ATVs or motorcycles, and anyone drifting out there, please know that we understand how dangerous this is. We know how much you endanger other people with your behavior and there is a price to be paid for that,” Krasner said in a separate interview with ABC Philadelphia.

Crime continues to rise by almost all measures in the heavily Democratic city

The thefts quickly saw the seizure of iPhones, laptops, tablets and anything within reach on display stands, completing the looting in less than a minute

It is the latest incident in a series of lawlessness to hit the city.

Last week, dozens of masked looters stormed an Apple Store, making off with iPhones and tablets as the city suffered widespread crime.

Surveillance camera footage from the Philadelphia Police Department shows brazen thugs rioting through the Apple Store on Walnut Street in the city’s downtown.

Masked thieves forcibly infiltrated the store and quickly seized iPhones, laptops, tablets and anything within reach on display stands, completing their plunder in less than a minute.

Most of the suspects appeared to be teenagers, including one who boldly strolled outside, dragging a huge television monitor with no sense of urgency.

At least 52 arrests have been made so far, with at least 30 people facing burglary, theft and other charges on Saturday, but the number of suspects appears to be higher.

The flash mob-style looting last Tuesday night targeted dozens of stores, including Foot Locker, Lululemon and Apple.

The chaos in Philadelphia is reminiscent of similarly brazen thefts elsewhere, especially in the San Francisco Bay Area, where organized groups of thieves, some with crowbars and hammers, have systematically targeted higher-end stores.
