Donny Manco, from Fort Wayne, Indiana, was infected by his son Memphis, 23, after losing a Fortnite match to him.
Now the name of the online game – which is popular with children and teenagers – is written in bold black letters above his right eyebrow.
The professional tattoo artist shared a clip of the process on his TikTok channel (@memphismancotattoo), which documents everything from laying down the stencil to inking in the design.
“Your mother is going to kill me,” Donny can be heard saying in the clip, which has been viewed more than 21.1 million times. – although some people insist it’s just a henna tattoo.

The man flinched as Memphis, urging his father to remain still, worked his magic on the design.
In a message laterhe shared his mother’s reaction to the revelation.
“Why would you do that to your bloody face,” Sarah, 48, asked in shock. ‘Fornite? Fortnite?!’
But the son stood by his artistry, saying it shows his father’s fun-loving personality – and stressed that his father – who is also a tattoo artist himself – is more than happy with it.
“In this household, we don’t do things by halves; we go all in, no half sends,” he explained.
“Based on the constant tears of joy, it looks like Dad’s face cloth is a masterpiece that keeps on giving.”
He said Fornite was chosen because it was “the battlefield par excellence in the epic saga of sibling rivalry and conquest.”
“I thrive on turning family competitions into living art,” he added.
