A 12-year-old mother who sparked outrage after feeding her children from a baby bath shares what it’s like to raise her brood of children.
Alicia Dougherty – who is 42 and from Pittsford, New York – has four biological children and eight others she has adopted, and regularly gives people a glimpse into her life via TikTok And Instagramwhere together she has around seven million followers.
In one time-lapse video, Alicia shows people a morning where she starts preparing breakfast and lunch for her children from 5am.
She makes a huge batch of waffles and bacon for their first meal before moving on to prepare their sandwiches.

The mother places bread slices in front of her on the kitchen bench before assembling a mix of sandwiches, including peanut butter and jelly and ham.
Then she cuts them into pieces and puts them in bags, ready for the children’s lunchboxes.
It usually takes her about 30 to 45 minutes, Alicia later revealed.

“I stocked up on their favorite cereals, condiments and canned goods,” the mother said.
She also showed people what’s in her cart.
The cereals included Lucky Charms, Rice Krispies, Reese Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Froot Loops, Cap’N Crunch’s Crunch Berries, Marshmallow Fruit Pebbles, and Frosted Bite-Size Strawberry Shredded Wheat.
Alicia added, “I can’t forget the coffee and I filled cart one with the juice.”

In cart two, she packs some birthday presents, an “impulse buy” mini waffle maker, bags of chips, bread, and toiletries.
Her third wagon was filled with breakfast donuts, cold cuts, “almost 20 pounds of cheese,” milk, creamers, yogurt, and eggs.
Meanwhile, the fourth cart was for produce before going to the checkout counter.
The groceries have cost over $900.
“This would last my family for at least a month.

In a viral video, which has been viewed more than 2.9 million times, the mother – who is raising her blended brood with her husband, Josh, 44 – showed viewers preparing a “nacho party.”
She started by pouring tortilla chips into the bottom of the pool before adding ground meat, cheese sauce, lettuce, olives, tomatoes, and sour cream.
At the end of her video, the busy mom — whose kids range from four to 17 — showed the family digging into the pool and indulging in the Tex-Mex-inspired meal with no forks or napkins in sight.
And while the pool dish turned out to be a hassle-free nutrition strategy because it involved no dishes, many viewers weren’t fans.
“So unhygienic,” someone said.
Another added, “My mom would call this demolition.”
“What a monumental waste of food,” wrote a third social media user.

But others loved that Alicia provided the kids with a fun way to eat.
