A bikini designer has revealed one of her main dating “icks”: men who drink from straws.
Georgia Costello, 25, shared on TikTok that a date would lose his “10 out of 10” status if she saw him using one. She argued that it was “for us (women).”
The California-based bathing suit connoisseur raged at a “straw man” who defended their use of the drinkware, writing, “My teeth are getting cold from the ice.”
Others added that they chose to slurp this way because of the lack of hygiene in restaurants.

In the clip, Georgia is seen lying comfortably on her bed, which is covered with powder pink sheets and pillows.
Appropriately, she wears a cozy Barbiecore dress and flaunts her eyelash extensions, gold bracelet and neon colored nails.
‘He’s a 10, but if you go out for a drink with him and there’s a straw in his drink… Those are for us (women). Put that away. Those are for us. Not for you. It doesn’t matter what you say,” she says aggressively, holding her palms, rolling her eyes and pointing to the camera.
Men immediately took to the comments to defend their slurping ways, writing, “Where’s my strobe,” along with the nail polish emoji.
Another wrote sarcastically, “Actually, I just pour the drink into my cupped hand and slurp it out.” A third was saddened by her ‘ick’ and said, ‘Swear we can’t win.’
One commenter explained why he was a fan, writing: ‘I’m allergic to the cold so when the ice hits my lip it gets numb/tingling and swells a bit. So I keep using straws.’
Another brought cleanliness to the conversation, adding, “No, because the way they do the dishes in restaurants makes me not even want to use the cutlery let alone drink from the cup.”

Dentists are on Georgia’s side and believe that drinking out of straws carries more risks than benefits to your mouth.
Some of the drawbacks include accelerated aging, tooth decay, bloating, “smoker’s lips,” and cavities.
In Georgia’s other video posts, she added that her extra “icks” were that guys were personal trainers and had over 1,000 followers on their Instagram.
