“My husband and I are tenth cousins once removed,” chimed in another. “Almost everyone I know in Utah is my cousin in some way.”

Someone else wrote, “That’s why my mom wants to know who I’m dating so she can tell me if we’re related or not, because I have a big family that lives in one city.”

In a follow-up video, the couple said they have no plans to break up despite discovering they are apparently related.

The eight-second video featured the duo dancing, while lyrics to a song in the background said “yes” over and over.

The uncanny similarities didn’t end there, though, as Tylee and Nick already revealed another movie they also share the same birthday and have been told before that they look alike.

However, their dodging around multiple questions asking just how closely related they are has a few people questioning their story.

“So you guys aren’t even cousins, you’re just into likes and engagement,” one dubious user wrote.

“I’m sure there will be an explanation after this has been milked out for all the opinions it’s worth lol,” another agreed.

So far, the couple has not revealed exactly how they discovered their familial connection, nor have they shared what their relationship is to each other.

Tylee and Nick aren’t the only couple to find out in recent months that they’re closer than they thought.

Earlier this year, Colorado couple Celina and Joseph Quinones found out they were related after taking DNA tests through MyHeritage, a decade after their marriage.

Although the couple initially considered divorcing, they ultimately decided to stay together, having welcomed three healthy children.

According to the test, Celina and Joseph are somewhere between second cousins and first cousins, meaning the closest relative they can share is a great grandparent.
