Sean Stone ‘humiliated’ his ex-girlfriend after the Love Island contestant admitted on national television to being unfaithful twice during their four-year romance.

The 24-year-old confectionery salesman abruptly ended his relationship with beautician Nikki Overton, 21, in December. She claims he did so so he could audition for the ITV2 series, after which he was later announced as part of the original line-up.

And now friends close to Nikki say she was ‘shocked’ and ‘saddened’ while watching the show, while Sean has admitted to betraying her, including with one of his clients after claiming: ‘One lucky lady wanted more than candy, so she got sweet D.”

He also confessed his infidelity during a game of Never Have I Ever, saying: ‘We were about two years into our relationship, I was kind of falling off and I totally went off and started kissing another bird. .. you learn from your mistakes.’

The scenes were painful for Nikki, whose friends have revealed she is ’embarrassed’ as she discovers her worst fears during their romance have proven true.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Sean has completely humiliated Nikki. The last thing she expected when he was announced for Love Island was for him to confess to cheating on her.

‘She is so shocked and saddened by his confessions that it is not easy when the whole nation is watching. And of course her friends and family know they were together for four years, so they can control the timing.”

Sean founded his confectionery company Sweet Delivery three years ago, during the time he was dating Nikki.
