A Reddit user was unpleasantly surprised when she discovered that her husband is obsessed with a woman who isn’t her.
A woman using a trashed Reddit account posted about her husband — who is also her coworker — and his obsession with their boss’s 20-year-old daughter.
She wrote, “January this year the boss officially brought her in and let us know that she will be taking over a lot of his work, aside from the business.”
“We were hesitant at first since she was so young (turning 20 this year), but in the end she didn’t take over, especially learning to manage the business while the boss was doing other work, I think,” she added.
Now the woman is questioning her job and who to tell about her husband’s obsession as she prepares to divorce him.

The Reddit user explained that it all started a few months ago after their boss’ daughter hosted office events that earned high praise from her coworkers, including her husband.
“We were all talking about her, so it didn’t feel so weird at first when my husband joined in on the compliments… In retrospect, it seems like that was just his intention to talk to me about her in general,” she said.
The woman said she started to feel like her husband was comparing her to their boss’s daughter, and then everything got worse.
She said: ‘This too was a slow spiral, from talking about her maturity to appearance, how she can still look good when she’s so busy studying and working…’
“I asked if he thought she was more beautiful than me, and he replied, ‘Of course you are attractive to me, but objectively speaking, if you don’t take into account my attraction to you, she is more beautiful.’ This has bothered me for a while. she added.

After finding her husband’s laptop for a few days, his obsession with their boss’ daughter became apparent.
The woman found a folder with the boss’s daughter’s name on it, containing more than a thousand photos of her, some without the 20-year-old’s consent.
“This scared me especially because in the six years we’ve been married, it was almost impossible to imagine my husband, who I’ve always known as the sweetest guy, as someone who would do something like that,” she wrote. .
Unfortunately, the woman later found even more folders on his laptop that disgusted her.
“He actually had a folder that was poorly hidden deep in some folders, full of photoshopped pictures of her, some solo, some with him, some with other members of the office and some just absolutely vile and disgusting,” she stated.
She left the next day to stay with her pregnant cousin and had little contact with him over the next few days.
His wife confronted him shortly after finding inappropriate photos of the 20-year-old on his computer, and left later that day to stay with a friend.
The Reddit user ended up going home while her husband was at work to pack her bags and copy everything from his laptop to a flash drive.
The woman and her friends “waited and waited” for him to come home. “He was surprised to see us but didn’t seem to suspect anything and I told him to sit down,” she said.
Her husband admitted that he was attracted to their boss’s daughter. and made the folders to release his tension without harming anyone.
She and her friends eventually left him “sobbing and begging for forgiveness,” without feeling any sympathy for him.
‘I don’t really know what to feel. My mind is a bit of a mess, and things are going strangely,” she said.
Now she wonders what to do next and where to go now that their marriage is seemingly over.
“I went back and forth about exactly who to tell,” she said.
“I think it’s only fair that I tell her and let her decide who she wants to share it with. “I have made attempts to reach out, preferably outside of work, and I let him decide how she wants to approach everything from her side,” the woman added.
Despite her concerns about the divorce, she is willing to seek legal advice and is currently staying with a friend.
She said: ‘I wanted to move in with my parents for a while, but my gut tells me this is the last place I should go if the news breaks.’
