“You are an absolute star and I am so thankful you were there, you did your best and I will be forever grateful.”
Mark replied, ‘There you are, Vic. I’ve been trying to find you. You were amazing for your dad and you made him proud.
You were stronger than I can imagine someone would be in that situation. I send you everything, all the love in the world Vic. Xx’

Mark had recently learned CPR after the father of one of his close friends died of cardiac arrest, so the technique was fresh on his mind.
During the talk on This Morning, presenter Phillip Schofield recalled how he saved his father after he had a heart attack in front of him.
Again stressing the importance of CPR, he said: ‘I brought my dad back doing that.
“And we have an extra 20 years with him because of it, so you never know,” he said.
‘If I hadn’t been there that night, then you know, that would have been it. So it’s worth knowing.
