I created a ‘Death Clock’ that predicts when you’ll die to ‘scare’ people into saving their lives

The founder of an app that predicts the day you will die has listed the several reasons why his technology is the ‘most accurate’.

Brent Franson is the CEO of Death Clock, which gives users a prediction of the day they will die while also offering ways they can live longer with certain lifestyle changes.

While speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, the California-based businessman revealed that he created the app because he was being ‘dropped’ from the healthcare system.

After watching his friends battle drugs and struggling with addiction himself, the founder wanted to help people find long-term solutions to their problems.

He then decided to “scare” people into taking control of their lives by creating the technology, which he has called “the best in the world,” that allows you to determine your date of death based on your health status.

After downloading the app, users are instructed to enter all their health and lifestyle details, such as how often they exercise and whether they have any long-term medical problems.

Then Death Clock estimates a day and year when you are expected to die.

He explained, “So what happens is you go ahead and answer these 25 questions. We predict the date of your death, and then we predict how much longer you can live if you change your habits.

‘We also tell you how many full moons you have left, how many weekends and things like that.

“And then we’ll give you an evaluation of your health. We’ll tell you the top three ways you’re likely to die, which is the first part of that evaluation. We not only predict when you will die, but also how you will die.

‘We also tell you what your strengths are, because we don’t want to be completely negative. We tell you lifestyle issues and medical issues.”

Brent told DailyMail.com: ‘Death Clock is primarily aimed at providing the most accurate prediction of when you will die, based on your current state of health, and I think it does.

‘Second, in understanding the finitude of life. I think we can save our lives a little bit, and then I think we can make choices that will help us live longer. So the death knell is not just to scare you. We give you an evaluation of your health.

While speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, the California-based businessman revealed he created the app because he was ‘pushed’ from the healthcare industry

‘We recommend a longevity plan, a set of things you can do to live longer. But it’s hyper, hyper, personal for me. I care about this so much for myself, from some really brutal, like experiences from the formative years. I’m just working on things. I try to help other people the way I helped myself.”

The CEO explained that the app was the best on the market because of the science it was backed by.

“The reason I believe this is the most accurate is because there is no third party legitimizing these things. So I think we have a pretty strong case,” he said.

‘We have used all the existing science to predict when people will die, which science is not new. Health insurers and life insurers have been doing this for a long time. The CDC [and government] do it too.

‘So we were able to take all the existing data and methodology and basically reproduce it the best in its class for this, using old-fashioned methods. And then we added an AI layer on top of it.

‘So we built our own AI that we trained on top of the 1,200 longevity studies that look at what the impact of sleep is on the length of your life, or supplements or other research and we have trained an AI on top of that.’

Brent even went so far as to say his app was the “best in the world” when it came to predicting people’s dates of death.

‘We are really the first company that said, “Okay, we’re going to combine the old and the new. We’re going to take the existing state-of-the-art [data] and then we’re going to put an AI layer on top of it that contains all the latest research,” he said.

‘WWe just haven’t seen anyone else do it as rigorously as we do. So we believe right now we are the best in the world to do that.”

Brent noted that people can get their date of death for free. If they want to receive a longevity plan, they can get a free seven-day trial or pay $40 per year

Brent explained that he was on a mission to “AI-ify” healthcare as he shared some of the ways the app could help you extend your life.

He revealed: ‘The The longevity plan consists of a number of different parts. So the first are recommended supplements that you may want to consider based on your specific health profile.

‘The second is recommended cancer screenings that you should take into account, given age gender and your specific health profile.

“The third is to recommend labs and blood tests. We then recommend behavioral changes. If you are not sleeping, we recommend that you make changes that you may want to implement to help you sleep. And we recommend things you should talk to your doctor about.

“The way to think about it more simply is: We’re trying to AI-ify janitor health.”

The founder revealed that he put a lot of care into the app as he said his main goal was to help people.

And with the election approaching, Brent also exclusively shared the death dates of Donald Trump and Joe Biden with DailyMail.com.

He revealed that Trump is expected to die on ‘November 13, 2036, while Biden is expected to die on July 20, 2027.
