I catch cheating husbands and wives for a living and there’s a sneaky tell-tale sign almost EVERYONE misses

If you suspect your partner is having an affair, a private investigator has revealed the biggest sign of cheating to look out for – and it’s a small detail that almost everyone overlooks.

Cassie Crofts, who runs a recognized private investigative service, called Venus studieshas worked with clients who hired her to uncover the truth about their unfaithful husbands.

The PI, who splits her work between NSW and Queensland, said the biggest red flag is a sudden change in someone’s spending habits.

“This is the number one sign of cheating that everyone misses,” she said.

“We’re essentially a cashless society these days, so if your partner has always been tap-and-go, using a credit card for rewards points and suddenly starts making withdrawals, that’s a breadcrumb worth following .

‘Cash leaves no trace. If they go to a restaurant and spend $200, you can be pretty sure they weren’t dining alone.

“But withdraw $200 in cash? You have no idea what happened.”

Her video received a few comments, with one agreeing, “Yes, this is so true.”

“100 percent,” another shared.

Earlier this month, Cassie told a story about one of the “wild” cases she worked on.

Through Flybuys, she discovered an unfaithful man’s secret affair after her client became suspicious of her husband’s frequent trips, which he believed were to visit his ‘family’.

The couple lived in Queensland, but the woman knew something was wrong when her husband regularly traveled to NSW.

The only detail she saw on their joint bank account was his random trips to Coles and Bunnings, but she had no other information to prove he was an impostor.

However, the penny dropped when the woman started looking through their Flybuys transaction history and realized where her husband had been all along.

Each transaction showed the exact suburb where he had shopped.

The suburb turned out to be the same area where the man’s ex-girlfriend lived.

“This case was wild,” Cassie said to her videowith the caption: “$10 off your store, but a very expensive divorce.”

The private investigator explained how she worked with her client, the woman, to find out how her husband cheated.

“We were pretty sure he did it,” Cassie explained.

“They lived in Queensland and he would travel to visit his family in NSW quite regularly, which he never did.

‘So she checked their joint bank account, it said things like Coles and Bunnings, but we don’t know where that happened. We don’t have any details about who was there, so it didn’t really help us.”

So Cassie suggested the woman check their joint compensation accounts for clues.

“I said to her, ‘Do you have any joint rewards accounts like Everyday Rewards or Flybuys, things like that?’ And they had Flybuys,” she said.

‘So we opened the app and there were all the transactions – Coles, Kmart, Bunnings – showing the suburb where he had shopped.

“Coincidentally, the suburb was in Queensland, where his ex-girlfriend lives.”

By looking at the small details in the transaction history, they realized the man was never in NSW, but was actually visiting his ex-girlfriend, who lived in the same state as her.

“Bro gave it up for a few extra rewards,” Cassie said.

She added: ‘For many people, they find it difficult to trust their instincts without evidence, even when all the signs are there.

“A little evidence gives them the impetus to take action.”

The detail was enough to confirm that the woman’s suspicions were correct all along.

Her video has been viewed more than 63,000 times, and in one video they used the same method to discover their partner’s affair: ‘Nailed it! I caught mine the same way.”

One man said his e-tag toll bill revealed his partner’s infidelity.

“My Linkt account caught my ex cheating,” he said.

One person joked: “I hope she kept the points.”

“I’m this level of petty,” another added.

Meanwhile, many said they wished they had known about the trick.

“I needed you years ago, about eight years ago. I wish I knew something about private investigators. I wish I knew,” one person said, along with a crying emoji.
