A woman has revealed she canceled her date as soon as her suitor arrived at her front door after sending her a ‘huge red flag’ text.
Utsha Saha, who is originally from Canada but lives in Britain, received a distasteful message from her date when he announced he was on his way to pick her up for their second meeting – after a successful first date.
Utsha, who goes by @shahutasaha on TikTok, posted one video explaining how the date took an awkward turn before it had even started.
The clip, which has been viewed 4.5 million times since it was posted last year, shows a frustrated Utsha detailing the evening’s events after her date called her a ‘b***h’ – leaving her with no choice but to break. the whole thing.
She explained, “So I got dressed for dinner tonight and this guy is on his way, and he has a dinner reservation and he’s coming to pick me up.”
Utsha Saha received a rather rude message from her date before he drove 30 minutes to pick her up, leaving the tech less than impressed
Utsha continued to explain that she received a text while she was getting ready for the date, when her date, who she has not named, announced that he was on his way to pick her up from her house.
Revealing the lyrics that made her feel offended, she said, “He says, I’m not kidding you, word for word…” Okay, you shallow bastard. Don’t judge my car. I’ve had it since I was 18 and no one has a car in London.”
The content creator gave further insight into their ‘barely friendly’ relationship by admitting that it was the second time the pair decided to meet after a successful first date.
Utsha revealed that the man is about 30 years old and has a ‘normal career’, and was shocked when he was called a ‘curse word’ before a relationship was established.
She said: ‘I hardly call my friends names, and if we ever playfully call each other ‘b***h’ they’re like people I’m close to.’
I have very little tolerance for swear words, especially from men I go on dates with. So this really threw me off.”
After consulting with her brother, she decided to confront the suitor when he arrived at her house, ultimately deciding to call off the date.
And according to Utsha, the man’s reaction confirmed that she had made the right decision.
He later called her and labeled her rude for “intentionally” letting him drive across town before abandoning him. She claims he then hung up on her before she could explain why his behavior was disrespectful.

Thousands of supportive comments poured in from people praising Ushta for standing up for herself and ‘dodging a bullet’
After their disagreement, the man allegedly called Utsha again to apologize and try to influence her decision, hoping for a second chance.
However, viewers of Utsha’s video were adamant that she had to stand firm and praised her for standing up for herself – arguing that she had ‘dodged a bullet’.
One person wrote: ‘HUGE RED FLAGS’, while another warned: ‘Run girl, don’t look back. The first red flag he put up, then the ‘I’m sorry’.”
A third said: ‘His insecurities are showing before you even went on a date,’ while another wrote: ‘Wow! I dodged a huge bullet with that!’
A final person commented: ‘Yes, maintain your boundaries/standards, his comment was disrespectful and unnecessary! Glad you stayed polite.’
