I brushed off an electrician’s advances and then he left a creepy note on my couch asking to ‘have some fun’ – but my husband’s response made him blush

A woman killed an electrician because he approached her with a creepy note asking her to “have some fun” – even after learning she was married.

Maceon McCracken, 28, from North Carolina, went viral on TikTok earlier this week when she posted a TikTok about the awkward exchange.

The social media star – who has nearly 65,000 followers – explained how the electrician made her feel uncomfortable while helping out at her husband Colton’s furniture store in Concord.

When the workman arrived to install ceiling fans in their showroom, Maceon asked him to help move some of the furniture.

In reply he said to her, “I’d rather take the lead from you.”

Though she thought this comment was “odd,” Maceon decided to overlook it and returned to her husband’s office.

Later, the workman walked through the office to wash his hands and felt compelled to tell Maceon that he thought she was “beautiful.”

She claims he told her, “It broke my heart when they told me you were married out there, but that doesn’t bother me, and if you ever want to hang out, let me know.”

After making this inappropriate comment, the electrician told Maceon that he left her a secret note in one of the benches they moved.

Looking back, Maceon said she was “so caught off guard” she didn’t know how to respond to him.

The electrician was about half way through his job at the time, so she didn’t want to bring it up at first.

But when her husband said he wanted to go out to dinner, Maceon told him she was not comfortable being alone in the shop with the workman.

After telling him what had happened, the social media star waited for the electrician to leave before pulling out the note.

It read, “I’m not trying to get you in trouble, but you’re absolutely beautiful, even though you’re married.” If you ever just want to have some fun or something, please.

“PS, if not, take a look at this note. You are beautiful and the perfect example of what I think is amazing.’

In a follow-up videoMaceon explained how her husband later confronted the electrician – who denied knowing he would catch his boss’s wife – about the note.

She said, “Colton was like, ‘This isn’t the right thing to do and he needs to know that.'”

Maceon’s husband returned the note to the electrician and told him to “keep it.”

The workman reportedly replied, “Is that your wife?” I’m very sorry.’

The vast majority of users were stunned by the electrician’s behavior – many said his spelling was also a ‘red flag’

Colton told him, “Don’t leave any more notes for my wife in my pews.”

Since uploading on Sunday, Maceon’s video has been viewed more than 4.7 million times – and the majority of viewers were shocked by his behavior.

She captioned the post, “I am constantly shocked by the guts and audacity that some men have.”

One joked, “You accidentally triggered his hero instinct by asking him to help you move furniture.”

Contrary to the spelling, another added: “Just consider” instead of “ignore!”

“His spelling is a red flag in itself,” said a third.

“I bet his boss would love to know about this behavior,” a fourth wrote.

Meanwhile, a fifth quipped, “If we’re shocked by something he did, it means he’s a bad electrician.”
