One woman has revealed she breastfeeds her husband – and says it has not only brought them closer but is also good for his health.
Rachel Bailey, 30, from the US, started the unusual practice in 2017 with her boyfriend Alexander, also 30, and the couple haven’t looked back since.
The mother-of-three claims Alexander hasn’t had a cold in two years and has since received many compliments about his skin.
The couple insists it is “not a kink for them” and that they are not ashamed of it because “nothing bad has come out of it.”
“It’s a bit of a taboo subject, but we wanted to share it because we don’t think it’s bad and we’re not ashamed of it,” she said.

Alexander initially started drinking Rachel’s breast milk to help her when she over-lactated while breastfeeding their children.
“When my middle child, Aria, now six, was breastfeeding, I went on a cruise with Alexander,” she explained.
‘However, I forgot my breast pump and was heavily stuffed for two days.
‘I was in so much pain and afraid of getting an infection, so we decided my husband was going to try drinking the milk to give me relief.
‘We were nervous about him breastfeeding from me, but as soon as we did it we realized it was fine.’
Rachel said it was “an instant relief when Alexander caught on.”
“Plus, it’s also created a more special bond between us that we never would have had if we hadn’t started this,” she added.
When she produced the most milk shortly after giving birth, he drank her milk “three to four times a day.”

Her husband now even prefers it to cow’s milk.
Rachel says her diet also affects Alexander’s as a result.
“It’s funny because when I eat something spicy, I also get Alexander gas,” she said.
The mother also emphasized that her children are a priority – and has always made sure her babies are fed first before Alexander drinks the remaining milk.

‘I love breastfeeding him because it allows us to spend quality time together. It definitely brought us closer together as a couple,” Rachel explained.

‘We realized there was nothing wrong with me breastfeeding him, and that it would actually be good for him because it is so nutritious.
‘He didn’t get a cold for two years after he started drinking my milk and so many people said his skin was so much better too.
‘It’s not a piece of cake for us. It started out as Alexander just helping me when I was in pain, but it turned into more of an emotional connection.”
When she became pregnant for the third time with her youngest child, Matthew, two, she started over-lactating again and Alexander was happy to help.
She used to breastfeed her husband for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but because she produces less milk now, she only breastfeeds him at night.
“I’ve just stopped nursing our youngest child because I’m producing less milk, so he now only feeds on my milk in the evenings,” Rachel explained.
‘I think it’s a shame that our breastfeeding times have become shorter now as I feel like it has taken away from our routine of the blocks of quality time we had together.’
She says it’s “such a fun experience” and the couple is “so happy” they started it.
“Nothing bad has come out of it at all, so why should it be something that’s hidden?” she noted.
‘Alexander felt so much more energetic when he drank my milk and he said he even felt in a medicated state while breastfeeding.
‘It was very special and brought us closer than ever before.’
