Ashley Romano, who lives in Hollywood, Florida, shared videos of herself on TikTok shows off her ‘bikini body’ on a beach.
In another video, she filmed herself dancing at a pool party in a pink two-piece suit.
She explained that when she was a smaller size, she didn’t feel confident enough to wear revealing swimwear – but now she’s decided not to care about her looks and enjoy life.
The hairdresser can count on the support of her followers, who applauded her confidence.

In one video, Ashley is filmed at her local beach, wearing a black bikini top with floral bottoms.
Patting her stomach with a big grin, the woman lip-synched to a voiceover that said, “Now this is a bikini body!” I’m ready to bully people on the beach.”
Another video showed Ashley and friends of similar frames having fun at a pool party under the caption, “Three big girls walk into a pool party… And have the best time ever.”
In a longer caption to the video, Ashley reflects on her perception of her body that has changed over the years.
“I can’t help but think back to when I was 100 pounds lighter and went to a late night pool party and wore a cover up because I didn’t think my body looked good enough,” she wrote.
“I also think of less than a year ago when I went to a bar and had to leave fifteen minutes later because all the people and loud music gave me a panic attack,” she added.
But she said she came to the pool party she was filming with a different attitude.
“At this party there were a lot of people, a lot of ‘perfect’ bikini bodies and the music was loud AF and I was having so much fun,” she said.
The hairdresser admitted she was always worried about how her body looked before, but has decided not to let that limit her

While she admitted the moment was out of her “comfort zone,” she explained that she had to “choose” to have fun.
“I also had to choose not to care about what anyone thought of me, my body, or my beautiful dancing skills,” she said.
“Every time I got out of the pool, every time I felt like someone was watching me, and every time I caught myself comparing (the killer of all joy), I want to be okay with my body ‘ she added.
‘I don’t want to hide. I don’t want to miss social events. I don’t want to miss life.’
