A frequent flyer has revealed that she enthusiastically swaps seats with other passengers – and that often lands her a better seat.

Talia Lakritz often flies solo and has revealed that she is always willing to swap seats with fellow passengers when traveling.

Her confession comes after the subject of airline etiquette — particularly the debate surrounding seat switching — was brought to a fever pitch when a pharmacist revealed she refused to give up her seat so a mother and her teen could sit together while traveling.

However, the New York-based traveler said she was on the opposite end of the spectrum, as she always hoped a fellow passenger would ask her to switch seats.

Speak against Insidershe said, “Usually I don’t mind changing seats, and sometimes it even leads to a better seat.”

Talia explained that while traveling she saw a couple going to separate rows.

She noticed that one of them was sitting next to her, so she offered to switch so the lovebirds could sit together.

Talia said her offer not only earned her the favor of her fellow passengers, but it also earned her a better seat.

She was in a middle seat, but after transferring, she was able to get comfortable in an aisle seat.

“I scored an exit row because the flight crew needed more volunteers, or seats closer to the front of the plane because a family wanted to sit together,” the frequent flier said.

She explained that while airplane seat etiquette had become a hot-button issue, she didn’t mind switching seats if she was traveling alone and the flight wasn’t too long.

However, Talia noted that if she paid for a seat, she wouldn’t offer to transfer.

She told the outlet, “I would probably refuse to transfer if I paid extra for an aisle seat and someone asked me to move to a center or window, but so far I haven’t had to.”

Talia’s confession comes just a week after a passenger was praised online for refusing to give up her first class seat to a woman who wanted to sit closer to her teen.

Dr. Sabra, a TikTok creator and pharmacist, gained nearly 10 million views after sharing her elated reaction to the confrontation.

The short clip, titled, “POV: Flight Agent Asks Me To Give Up My 1A Seat So A Child Sits With His Family,” saw her grinning from ear to ear after denying the mother.

The refusal comes months after a man sparked a furious debate when he refused to give up his first-class seat for his boss, despite using his own credit card points to do so.

In the past, Jaci Stephen of DailyMail.com even voiced her opinion, confessing that she “absolutely refuses” to switch seats, no matter how angry the passenger requesting the transfer may get.
