An air conditioning technician filmed a customer calling the police and acting increasingly distraught as she accused him of threatening her.

Alonzo Harmon’s short clip of the incident in Golden Valley, Minnesota, has gone viral on TikTok with the caption: “Here’s a taste of what life is like for a black man in America.”

The air conditioning technician was filmed with the woman as she was inside her garage in the background of the clip and appeared to call the police.

As the woman tries to claim to 911 that the man scares and intimidates her and that she urgently needs an answer, Harmon asks, “What threat did I make to you, ma’am?”

The video was filmed in November of last year, but was uploaded by Harmon this week, where it subsequently went viral with 5.5 million views and nearly 600,000 likes.

Alonzo Harmon’s short clip of the incident in Golden Valley, Minnesota, has gone viral on TikTok with the caption: “Here’s a taste of what life is like for a black man in America.”

“She’s on the phone with 911 right now,” Harmon tells the camera calmly.

The woman on the call is heard saying, “He said I’m rude, and right now he’s scared me.”

But the puzzled technician seems confused by his reaction: ‘She said I only threatened her. What does she threaten?

‘What threat did I make to you?’ he asks.

The panicked woman does not answer the question.

In the next clip, the woman looks even more distraught as she urges the police to come faster.

She can be heard making crying noises on the phone as Harmon, standing several feet away outside the garage, looks on in puzzlement.

‘I’m scared right now. I’m shaking,” he tells 911. “Please. Please. I’m so scared right now.

Harmon suggests that the woman’s tears are not real.

‘What the hell is this, boy? I’m not going to lie, never in my life have I had to deal with nonsense like this. Never in my life.’

A concerned commenter responded to the viral video: ‘Are you okay? Update please!!’

Another wrote: ‘It’s a shame you’ve been treated like this, there’s no reason for that.’ I hope you’re well.

A third wrote: ‘Mann, this is not a joke, it’s scary how people can do that and get the law involved. Please update us.’

In the next clip, the woman looks even more distraught as she urges the police to come faster.

A police report detailed that two officers from the Golden Valley Police Department responded to the woman’s call but took no further action.

“Officers spoke to the gentleman who recorded the video and he left with no further investigation into the incident to which he was called. That’s all the information we have,” a spokesperson for the police department said.

Harmon explained to Storyful that the woman in the clip began asking him “off-topic questions” about his work when he finished the air conditioning job.

He said the woman tried to grab his phone as he was leaving the property before calling police.

“I told her that if she calls the police, I’ll wait for them in my truck and then I started recording her when she called them,” Harmon told Storyful.

‘The police finally arrived for a couple of minutes. They talked to both of them and they only asked me to leave to calm the situation.
