Woman reveals her husband calls from the bus every day to let her know he’s passing their flat so she can wave to him

A man has caused a storm online after his wife revealed he waves to her on the bus every night as he passes their flat.

Holly Burt, 29, from London, used TikTok to share Emre’s romantic gesture that he does every night from the top of a double-decker bus.

Every weekday evening, Emre waves to his wife as he walks past their Farringdon flat to let her know he’s almost home from work.

The 29-year-old said it has become a tradition every night. She joked, “I married a Golden Retriever.”

The sweet clip has since been viewed more than 14 million times, with thousands taking to the comments section to share their thoughts on the ‘healthy’ habit.

The couple live in Farringdon, central London, and he takes number 243 from his office in Shoreditch, which stops near their apartment.

Holly said: ‘Every night when my husband comes home from work he calls me from the bus and wants me to wave to him from our living room.’

She added in the caption: “I married a Golden Retriever #marriage #couple #fyp #London.”

Holly filmed Emre waving at her from the bus on February 23 and shared it on TikTok.

The video quickly became a sensation and more than 13,000 people took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the clip. One said: ‘That’s so healthy.’

A second added: ‘This is so funny and sweet. He is also really committed to his golf.’

“Maybe love exists like in the books,” said another.

Elsewhere, a fourth said: ‘I want my future husband to have this energy or I wouldn’t want it.’

Emre calls Holly when he passes her on the bus every night to ask her to come to the window so she can see him waving.

It comes after a man was given the title of ‘best friend in the world’ because he always spoils his girlfriend with gifts no matter how tired he feels after work.

Harry Fairlie, a diesel plant mechanic from Sydney, lives by a ‘no excuses’ mentality when delivering treats to his partner Ella Whiteley.

After returning home from a long day at work, Harry stopped by a local shop to pick up a bouquet of flowers, a bag of Smith’s crisps and chocolate bars for her.

Thousands flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts on Emre’s “hilarious and sweet” tradition

The moment he gave the gifts to Ella, whom he has been dating for five months, was captured on camera and immediately warmed the hearts of thousands.

“This is your cue to make the effort,” Harry captioned a TikTok video.

“Never stop treating her like you’re still trying to win her. Fourteen hour shifts, little sleep, NO excuses not to make an effort.’

In the clip, Harry shared two images – one of himself at work and another of the presents – and then cuts to when he gets home.

Ella stands at the front with a big smile on her face when she sees the flowers.

A remix of Sam Smith’s pop hit ‘Latch’ plays over the footage and Ella jumps up and down excitedly.

The couple then embraces with a kiss before the video ends. In just four days, the TikTok went viral and was viewed more than 1.3 million times.
