Husband slaps man at Baltimore science conference for ‘sexually assaulting his wife seven years ago’

An irate husband was caught on camera punching a doctor at a medical conference in Maryland while insulting the man and accusing him of sexually assaulting his wife in 2016.

The video, which was recorded last month at the annual meeting of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) in Baltimore, shows the man walking onstage and punching him several times in the face.

The room’s acoustics and the nearby microphone ensure that every word is crystal clear for everyone to hear, with even the crackle of every blow to the man’s face reverberating in the conference room.

The audience member, who has not been named, could be seen grabbing the doctor, who was an onstage panelist, by his shirt before striking him with his hand.

The attacked physician has been identified as a gynecologic oncology physician at Stony Brook University Cancer Center in Long Island, New York, according to WMAR. He has not been named because he has not been charged with a crime.

“This mother ****** sexually assaulted my wife seven years ago,” the audience member announces before slapping the panelist. ‘You know what you did. You touched my wife 7 years ago in New York. Don’t be a******. B****!’, he says, slapping him again.

“This is for all the men who sexually assault women,” he continued. “Be the goddamn man!”

The audience member is so upset when he makes his allegations that he declares that the assault on the physician panelist is for all men who harm women in such a way.

He emphasizes that his wife suffers from his alleged predatory actions.

A woman shouts: ‘Safety!’ — which only infuriates the man further.

“You can call security, the police! I don’t give a fuck!’

At one point, a person can be heard laughing off camera, prompting the audience member to return to the panelists’ table and confront the doctor again.

“I waited seven years for this. Seven years! My wife suffers because you are a predator,” he says. ‘And you know what you did! Don’t be fucking b***h! You touched my wife! This son of a bitch likes to touch women.’

The incident sparked a police investigation after officers were called to the conference center to deal with the physical assault.

After the conference, ACOG released a statement apologizing for the incident.

“Security protocols were followed and the situation was quickly addressed by plainclothes security and eventually the Baltimore Police Department. We apologize to those who may have been affected by the incident or subsequent exchanges. ACOG does not condone violence of any kind,” the ACOG said in a statement.

It continues: “We recognize that those who witnessed the incident in person or online may have been traumatized by it, including many of you who have experienced sexual assault or other violence in the past.”

The doctor who was assaulted refused to press charges or press charges against the man, preferring instead to simply escort the husband off the premises, Baltimore police said.

None of the panelists commented on what had happened before them.
