Husband slams wife’s book club outfit on TikTok: Blair and Steven
Man criticizes wife’s ‘book club outfit’ and accuses her of lying about where she’s going: ‘Get up and change’
- Newlyweds Blair and Steven argue over Blair’s book club
- The man claims that his wife dresses “too sexy” to simply talk about literature
A man split thousands after playfully accusing his wife of lying to him about going to a book club because she looked “too good.”
Newlyweds Blair and Steven had been married for three months when they shared a tongue-in-cheek dramatic “argument” over Blair’s choice of clothes.
Steven said he was angry because Blair dressed to the nines — complete with “perfect” eyeshadow and gold hoop earrings — to go to book club with her friends.
The man jokingly said no one needed to dress “sexy” to discuss literature and demanded his wife put on sweatpants before leaving the house.
Steven also called one of his wife’s friends to confirm if she was telling the truth about their harmless hobby and asked for photographic evidence of the activity.
A man has been labeled ‘possessive’ and ‘jealous’ after accusing his wife of lying to him because she went to a book club
Newlyweds Blair and Steven had only been married for three months when they shared a tongue-in-cheek dramatic ‘argument’ over Blair’s choice of clothes
“I’m angry because my wife is lying here,” he said in a now-viral video.
He continued the charade: “She’s lying to me—no one looks that good to go to book club.”
Blair was seen in a green frilly top with soft ruffles framing the front. She also had makeup on, including sparkly eye shadow and lip gloss.
The woman insisted she just dress normally and spend an afternoon discussing “Crying in H Mart” with her friends.
“Your eye makeup is literally perfect right now and you’ve got earrings on,” her husband countered. “Earrings are only worn when you’re super sexy.”
‘Is everyone coming in their best clothes to talk about books? You look too good now,’ Steven said.
He added, “Do you think I’m stupid? You have to get up and change. You put on sweatpants.’
Steven eventually called one of Blair’s friends to confirm if she was actually hosting a book club at her house.
“You mean you’re going to talk about books or is that a code word for something else?” he demanded.
“My wife looks very, very, very, very beautiful, and she’s had her eye makeup done, she’s wearing great jeans,” he added. “I just can’t imagine people dressing like that to go to book club.”
Steven also asked his wife’s boyfriend to take a picture of her with her wedding ring to make sure she’s not looking at anyone else.
“Her location is on so you know I’ll be there and I’ll be in the know,” he said at the end.

Many found his attitude adorable and made innocent statements.
“It’s girl code to dress confidently when meeting new women,” said one woman. “We dress nice for each other to make new friends.”
“I dress like that for my friends,” said another. “Why should I go to such lengths for a man who can’t name a single product?”
“This is cute, I’m waiting for someone to love me,” a third wrote. “Possessive men are the best.”
“He’s so cute, I love how much he loves you and is so jealous in a good way,” added another.
