Hurricane G dead: Tributes flood in from hip-hop world as they mourn the passing of Gloria Rodriguez

Hurricane G has passed away.

The female rapper, born Gloria Rodriguez, was confirmed dead on Sunday by EPMD’s Erick Sermon, with whom she shared a child. He did not disclose a cause of death.

He wrote on Instagram: “My heart is hardened today. One of my good friends…my oldest daughter’s mother passed away today,” before describing her as “a legend in her own right in the hip-hop community.”
