Hunter King shames ‘rude’ trolls for ‘hurtful’ accusation of lip fillers… after swollen lip selfie

Two-time Daytime Emmy winner Hunter King received an effusive response to a puffy lip selfie posted last Saturday from internet trolls and concerned fans, accusing her of going overboard with the lip fillers.

Not only has the 29-year-old SoCal resident’s pout increased in volume since she was 20 years old, but her eyebrows appeared to be significantly higher on her forehead.

‘After my last message and all the negative reactions, I just wanted to say something. No I don’t have lip filler,” Hunter – who has 668,000 Instagram followers – wrote via Instagram story on Monday.

“But even if I did, I don’t think people should feel so comfortable saying such gross things about people’s looks.” Keep your negative comments to yourself. i [don’t know] who raised people to think it’s okay to express such negativity. It’s rude. And it’s hurtful.

“Personally, I don’t get lip filler (for some reason my lips are just extra puffy in the morning?). But for anyone who does, good on you! Do what makes you happy! And can we all just be nice for God’s sake? The world needs more of that. That’s all… rant over.”

King was defended in the comments by her mother Jamie King, who wrote: ‘Extra puffy morning lips! Why do we royal ladies wake up so swollen?’

The Royal Corgi Christmas actress has two sisters, one of whom happens to be Emmy nominee Joey King who was most recently seen on Netflix’s Bullet Train.

Also championing Hunter’s (née Haley) natural beauty was her boyfriend since July, Filmless executive producer Andy McNeil.

“Lol relax internet trolls, I wake up next to her every morning and this is normal!” assured McNeil.

“She’s gorgeous, even when her lips get puffy. And spoiler alert to all the medical experts who leave comments about fillers – the swelling subsides about an hour after waking up, calm down.”

But the most “furious” defense came from the Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths star’s coworker Benjamin Hollingsworth, who called her a “beautiful soul” and asked the trolls “who raised you and where is your decency?”

“Why any grown man … or woman should feel the need to go out of their way to comment on a woman’s body baffles me,” Hollingsworth said.

“Imagine if you had a daughter—imagine for a second—another grown man or woman who makes unsolicited negative comments about her body. [Please] no matter how strongly you feel about something, ask yourself, “Will this cause harm and would I want my child to go through something like this?”

But the most

King will next play Maggie Bailey in Peter Benson’s romance The Professional Bridesmaid, which premieres this Saturday on the Hallmark Channel.

The project is part of the multi-picture deal The Young and the Restless alum signed with Hallmark Media in November.

“I feel so incredibly grateful and lucky to be part of the Hallmark family!” Hunter said in a statement to deadline at the time.

“Growing up, I drove by Hallmark headquarters almost every day and dreamed of one day getting the chance to star in one of their movies. It’s already been awesome doing three Hallmark movies this year and I’m so excited for what’s to come. I get to star in Hallmark movies for a living! Are you joking? Is this real life?’

King will also play Jael Jones in Gary Auerbach’s indie thriller Give Me Your Eyes.
