The emails show that Rosemont Seneca “often used the Biden name to gain access to and favors from the White House,” according to America First Legal of ex-Trump adviser Stephen Miller, who obtained the emails.

They describe how Hunter used his position and access to his father to ensure that his business associates attended various White House tours, state dinners, luncheons, and other official events.

In a 2013 exchange, a Rosemont Seneca aide emailed directly the vice president’s office to arrange a Christmas tour of the White House for Hunter associates, saying this was a “great favor for Hunter’ would be.

A request came in from lobbyist Doug Davenport to Hunter’s former business partner Eric Schwerin, saying he was in a “bad situation” and needed to help his “guy from Apple” arrange a tour of the White House .

“I know it’s WAY short term, but I’d owe you my life if you could possibly tell me how I can secure a public tour for next Friday? Or am I just way over the line???’

Schwerin then called in Rosemont Seneca employee Katie and asked her to “check in with our friends there” to see if the last-minute tour could be arranged.

He said the most plausible solution would be to give the group front-of-the-line access.

Katie then emailed VP Biden staffers through their official “@ovp.eop.gov” accounts requesting the tickets as a favor to Hunter.

Another exchange shows Hunter helping his Third Point associate Josh Targoff set up an exclusive West Wing tour.

Additional correspondence shows that then-Vice President Joe had received an outside invitation from Hunter to attend an event hosted by the UCLA Berkley Center for International Relations. Among other things, Hunter also received numerous requests for his father’s autographs on photographs.

E-mails also reveal the close relationship between Rosemont Seneca staff and the then vice president’s staff.

“Welcome to the team!” Rosemont Seneca associate Katie cheerfully welcomed a new vice president of correspondence director in August 2013 via email exchange.

Republicans on the House Oversight Committee reiterate their “concern” that foreigners “seeked access and influence by establishing lucrative business relationships with the immediate family members of high-profile political figures,” including members of the Biden family.
