Hunter Biden told Devon Archer they would have ‘the last laugh’ after Archer’s initial 2018 sentencing was dismissed, texts reveal – as First Son’s ex-business partner prepares to name Joe Biden as ‘The Big Guy’

Hunter Biden told friend and business partner Devon Archer that they would “get the last laugh” after Archer said a judge overturned his initial 2018 conviction.

In a November 2018 text, reviewed by Fox News digitalArcher told Hunter Biden that the “judge overturned my conviction today.”

The president’s son replied, ‘Thank f*****g god! The first good news in far too long my friend. I am so happy for you. I know it’s (sic) been hell, but now put it behind you and take big steps forward.’

Archer was linked to the fraudulent issuance and sale of more than $60 million in tribal bonds, but a judge at the time did not review Archer to show that he “knew that the bond issuance was fraudulent, or that he personally benefited from it.” took out’.

The conviction was reinstated by the Second Circuit Court of Appeals a month before the 2020 election, and Archer was sentenced to one year and one day in prison in February 2022.

Archer will testify before lawmakers today, who is expected to talk about President Joe Biden’s interactions with Hunter’s business associates when he was vice president.

Text messages and emails between Devon Archer, Hunter Biden and dozens of business associates spanning a decade will emerge as Archer goes before the House Oversight Committee to testify about his business dealings with Hunter.

As Hunter Biden assured Archer that they would “have the last laugh,” Archer replied, “I know. And I mean it. Can I please come and visit you now that I’m not a criminal!?!’

He continued, “Don’t answer that. Only when and where.’

Hunter joked that he liked Archer “better as a thug” and set up a date.

After the bond issue was dropped in 2018, Archer was sentenced again on February 28, 2022 by the Honorable Ronnie Abrams to one year and one day in prison at the attack of defrauding a Native American tribal entity and several investment advisory clients out of tens of millions of dollars.

Archer was also ordered to forfeit $15,700,513 and repay an amount of $43,427,436.

Now, a source close to Archer has confirmed he will testify about meetings he attended with his and Hunter’s foreign business partners, where Hunter allegedly had his father call.

Archer is expected to provide details that will challenge the White House’s claim that Joe Biden never had any knowledge of or involvement in his wayward son’s business affairs.

But two days before he was due to testify, on July 29, the Justice Department sent a letter to Abrams asking him to expedite his sentencing on the fraud charge.

House Oversight and Accountability Committee chairman James Comer said Sunday that the department was acting unusually in doing so.

Comer alleged that the Department apparently acted outside the norm in an effort to prevent anyone from “cooperating” with the House Oversight investigation of Hunter Biden.

He claimed the DOJ’s actions were an attempt to “intimidate” witnesses who were essential to getting to the bottom of the president’s son’s overseas business deals.

He said in an interview on Fox’s Sunday Morning Futures that it was unusual for the DOJ to send such a letter.

In response, the Justice Department followed suit, telling District Judge Abrams on Sunday that they don’t want to see Archer jailed before he testifies.

“For the avoidance of doubt, the administration is not asking (and has never asked) that the defendant (Archer) surrender before his testimony in Congress,” read a July 30 letter.

DailyMail.com reported exclusively this week that Archer is “in hiding” after receiving “threats” leading up to his amazing testimony.

The White House has maintained that the president was never “in business” with his son, but the GOP has stepped up their investigation with whistleblower testimony and a slew of other evidence.

Archer, 48, and Hunter both graduated from Yale and had been friends for decades. Hunter has reportedly described Devon as his “best friend in business.”

Together they founded Rosemont Seneca Partners in 2009 along with Christopher Heinz, the son-in-law of former Senator John Kerry, beginning a period of international business deals and jet-setting.

Archer and Hunter Biden each received lucrative seats on the board of directors of Ukrainian energy company Burisma, despite Hunter having no specific expertise in the field.

The company reportedly brought in $11 million through the scheme, based on information gathered from Hunter’s infamous laptop.
