Lunden Roberts delivered a big surprise to the president’s son, 53, by turning up in person to learn how he was first impeached in their bitter, year-long battle over paternity.
Sources told DailyMail.com that the move would increase the pressure on the Biden scion as Roberts’ lawyers prepared to grill him under oath about his earnings from secret business deals in Ukraine, China and elsewhere.

The former flames settled the case in 2019, but Hunter abruptly asked a court last year to reduce the $20,000 a month in child support he pays for their adorable four-year-old daughter, Navy Joan Roberts.
Roberts, 32, refused to budge until the first son handed over a trove of financial documents and sat down for a videotaped statement to take place in the Arkansas office of her Donald Trump-supporting attorney, Clinton Lancaster.

The recovering drug addict moved the venue to the Stephens Building in downtown Little Rock, which was swarming with Secret Service agents as his motorcade of five vehicles pulled in through a private parking garage just before 9 a.m.
Roberts, a former DC bottle girl who once worked as Hunter’s PA, drove in undetected about five minutes later. She was dropped off in the same high-rise office for seven hours on Wednesday, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
The face-to-face confrontation comes after Roberts petitioned court judge Holly Meyer to have Hunter jailed for six months for failing to clarify his wealth. Meyer has yet to rule on the contempt charge.
In the first round of their four-year lawsuit, Hunter claimed he was “unemployed and had no monthly income,” despite living in a $12,000-a-month Hollywood rental and driving a Porsche.
But when ordered to submit his financials, he repeatedly failed to do so before agreeing to a 2019 settlement that has seen him pay Roberts more than $750,000 to date.
Despite already facing congressional and federal investigations into his financial affairs, Hunter unexpectedly reopened the case last September, claiming he had undergone “a substantial material change” in his income.
Roberts refused to budge and upped the ante by petitioning the court to officially rename her daughter Navy Joan Biden to “profit from carrying the Biden family name.”
Her discovery request includes everything from Hunter’s business deals in Ukraine and China to the names of the mysterious art lovers who paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for his beginner paintings.
In his own papers, Hunter has argued against Navy Joan becoming a Biden, insisting that he wants a “peaceful existence” for her, free from the political scrutiny associated with his family dynasty.

His lawyers told a hearing in May that he was not a deadly father and accused DailyMail.com of exaggerating about his jet-set lifestyle, claiming the Porsche had been repossessed and that Hunter has only flown Air Force One once since his father became president.
As we previously revealed, the May 1 court hearing in Batesville, Arkansas, marked the first time the former lovers saw each other since Lunden Hunter released an audio recording of her unborn daughter’s heartbeat in the spring of 2018.
The president’s son vowed to support Roberts “emotionally, physically and financially” as the fourth of his five children was born, according to a well-placed source.
Instead, he viciously “ghosted” her, ignoring her texts and calls, and refusing to acknowledge that Navy Joan was his until a court-ordered DNA test proved he was her father.
It was initially reported that Hunter met Roberts while working as a stripper at a DC club that Hunter frequented, when in fact they did not meet there and Roberts was never a stripper.
Texts retrieved from his abandoned laptop proved that she was in fact on the payroll at Rosemont Seneca, Hunter’s investment firm in Washington, DC.

The other notable statement in the paternity case, that of Garrett Ziegler, a former Trump staffer who is one of Roberts’ expert witnesses, took place last month.
Ziegler, an old nemesis of Hunter, previously posted a 644-page file online detailing the full contents of his infamously misplaced laptop.
Hunter’s legal team — led by D.C. super-lawyer Abbe Lowell, who reportedly charges up to $855 an hour — has tried but failed to block him from giving evidence when the lawsuit comes before July. the judge comes.
