Hunted Australia winners reveal their heartwarming $100,000 prize money plans
After 21 days on the run, fugitives Holly and Jimi triumphed in the dramatic Hunted Australia final on Monday night.
On the Channel Ten reality show, the pair made it to extraction point at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and won a share of $100,000 in prize money after leaving the other surviving team, Tharren and Jordan, in the dust.
Holly screamed and cried in relief as they were taken out victorious from the competition aboard a helicopter.
But after the dust settles after the cat-and-mouse game’s cathartic conclusion, Holly and Jimi have Yahoo lifestyle what each of them plans to do with their share of the profits.
Before the show, Holly says she struggled financially due to the cost of living crisis, while also trying to make it as a dancer.

“Winning, taking the cake, that means so much more to me,” she explained.
“It means we can put that money into the house for myself and my partner, it means we can travel the world, it means we can live comfortably and it means I can fulfill my dreams as a dancer,” she said .
Jimi says that even though he said goodbye to his friend Ed during the show, they agreed from the start that if one of them made it to the end, they would split the money.
“We decided to double our chances and our deal was always whatever we did together.” he said.
“Ed is as much of a winner as I am to myself and he gets half that money.”

It comes after one of the Hunted Australia stars says the local show is the best version of the international franchise.
The real-life adventure series revolves around a team of surveillance experts who ‘hunt’ 20 contestants to evade arrest for 21 days, with the eventual winner raking in a $100,000 cash prize.
Ben Owen, a British intelligence expert who has starred in the British version of the franchise, says the series Down Under produced is bigger and better than its international rivals.
“I’m not saying it just because I’m talking to an Australian journalist,” Owen said of his claims to the Herald Sun on Monday.
Holly is struggling financially due to the cost of living crisis and plans to use the money to travel and pursue her dream of becoming a dancer.
“For me it’s the most exciting thing I’ve done,” he continued.
“(The local version) It has double the number of fugitives and we have less time to catch them. We really struggle tactically to get so many people into such a vast area in such a short time.’
Hunter Australia was also Channel 10’s most successful relaunch since the first season of The Masked Singer in 2019.
It was also a winner for streaming platform 10Play, scoring the biggest catch-up audience since The Bachelor in 2020.
