A manhunt has been launched for a man captured on CCTV dancing through a suburb after a teenage jogger was sexually assaulted in broad daylight.
The young woman was jogging along Whitehorse Road, Blackburn in Melbourne’s east at around 11.10am on August 26 when she was approached by an unknown man.
Police suspect he sexually assaulted her when she tried to pass him and then ran away on foot.
Detectives have released CCTV footage showing a man dressed in traditional safety gear and would like to speak to him about their investigation.
CCTV footage showed the man walking down a Melbourne street shortly after the woman had been sexually assaulted.
He then begins to do nervous dance steps on the sidewalk and grabs a basketball from behind a building.

The man is described as having a slim build, brown eyes and dark curly hair.
He was carrying a red basketball.
The woman was not injured in the attack.
The investigation is still ongoing.
