Pierce cycled along the coast with his sunglasses over his eyes and a water bottle tucked into his bike.
Pierce played the famous secret agent 007 in four of the James Bond films: GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day.
The actor had his last appearance as 007 in Die Another Day in 2002 and while he was keen to make a fifth film, the producers decided they wanted to reboot the role to stay relevant in the post-September 11, post-Jason Bourne world.
Pierce previously insisted he has “no regrets” about the way he left the franchise when he was told he was being replaced over the phone.
Speak with The guard in 2020, Pierce said, “There are no regrets. I don’t let regret enter my world… It only leads to more misery and more regret. Bond is the gift that keeps on giving and has allowed me to build a wonderful career.
“Once you’re branded as Bond, it’s with you forever, so you better make peace with it and you can better understand that when you walk through those doors and pick up the mantle of playing James Bond.”
Pierce previously admitted that he felt like he had been “kicked to the curb” when he was removed from the franchise and said the call from the producers came completely out of the blue.
The movie star received a call from producers Barbara Broccolli and Michael Wilson, who told him that they had decided to recast the role, which went to Daniel Craig.

‘That was it. I was completely shocked and just kicked the curb with the way it went down.”
According to the authors of the book, Pierce wanted too much money for a fifth film, while the bosses had already decided to take the franchise in a rougher direction.
Pierce has had a successful career since leaving the Bond franchise, appearing in films such as Mamma Mia! and The Ghost Writer.
