Hull City will today confirm the signing of Fabio Carvalho on loan from Liverpool.
The 21-year-old traveled to Hull on Monday ahead of medical tests and now that everything has cleared he is looking forward to starting the next phase of his career.
Liverpool opted for the Championship side as they view regular playing time as crucial to the Portuguese striker’s development.
They curtailed his loan spell at Red Bull Leipzig because he wasn’t getting enough minutes and his return meant a wave of inquiries from his former club Fulham, plus Wolves, Leeds United, Leicester City and Southampton, who made a particularly strong pitch for his services . .

Carvalho joined Liverpool in the summer of 2022 and made 21 appearances in his first season at the club.
However, he made just eight starts and spent most of the campaign as an unused substitute.
He played fifteen games for RB Leipzig, but started only one Bundesliga match.
