Hulk Hogan believes he’d make a ‘great’ Vice President to get the US ‘back on track’… but is WWE legend backing Donald Trump or Joe Biden?

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan is convinced he has what it takes to solve America’s problems after throwing his hat into the ring to take over as vice president.

During an appearance on NewsNation’s Dan Abrams Live, 70-year-old Hogan discussed the upcoming presidential election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden as the pair prepared to lock horns in a live TV debate on Thursday.

He has thrown his support behind presidents in the past, publicly backing Barack Obama in 2008 and Mitt Romney four years later.

And while it remains to be seen who will come out on top in the Trump vs. Biden battle, the former WWE superstar insists he should be the man to work alongside them as VP.

When asked if he could take on a role in the White House, Hogan said, “Hey, you never know. Right now, I would be a great vice president, brother, because I have common sense. I know right from wrong.

“I just think a flat tax would be fair to everyone here. And if I were the vice president, and then suddenly I roll into that top position, four years later, you’re going to get twelve good years from me. And then suddenly we were really on the right track.’

Hogan has crossed paths with Trump on several occasions, with the controversial American tycoon attending a number of WWE shows in the past as an avid wrestling fan, while also featuring in WrestleMania 23 in 2007.

So who does he support in this year’s election?

“You know, at the end of the day, I just want someone to fix gas prices,” Hogan said. “Food prices, the security of our nation. I want peace in the Middle East.

“I just want someone with common sense who knows right from wrong, brother. That’s why I wanted to be [Vice] President.’

During the live debate between the two candidates on Thursday night, Hogan added, “Well, you know, Joe is a little laid back. Sometimes he has the Joe moments where he pulls back and you can basically describe America in one word, you know, and then he won’t actually say the word.

“But I saw him when he addressed Congress and all that, the Union speech where he was clear. So it’s going to be interesting, you know, I know it took him a whole week to prepare. And Donald Trump is running around going to all the breakfast places, tipping everyone, so I just don’t know.

“I really hope Joe is doing well, I hope he’s leaning forward and not rocking on his heels. I hope Trump does the same. I just want the best man to win.’

Abrams then pointed out to Hogan that it sounds like he’s leaning toward Trump’s side.

“Well, you know what, I’m for the man who’s going to straighten this country out, man, whoever that person is,” he insisted.

“I mean Rock or Jesse Ventura, or it could be anyone at this point, but I’m looking for that truth teller to come in and set this country straight.”
