Former WWE star Hulk Hogan has bizarrely claimed he received a ballot from Roddy Piper after his death.
Wrestling legend Piper spent several years in WWE for various stints, with his last match coming in 2011 against The Miz, although he appeared in a non-wrestling capacity afterward.
He died in 2015 at the age of 61, where it was ruled that he had suffered cardiac arrest due to high blood pressure.
The Hall of Famer buried the genesis of a rivalry with Hogan at WrestleMania 30, alongside Paul Orndorff and Mr. T, with all four men facing off at the first WrestleMania.
However, Hogan has now sensationally claimed that his friend approached him after his death.
Hulk Hogan has claimed he received a voice message from a dead WWE legend two days after their deaths
Roddy Piper, one of Hogan’s biggest rivals in WWE, died in 2015 at the age of 61
Hogan said he received a voice message saying Piper was ‘walking’ with Jesus
“It was a voice message,” Hogan began on The 700 Club. ‘This text message came within two days of him dying and reads, “I just love you, my brother. Just walk with Jesus. Walk with Jesus and love you, my brother.”
‘I thought, ‘He would never have said that when he was here.’
The rivalry between Hogan and Piper lasted for decades, with the pair facing off for the then WWF Championship in 1985.
Their match set up the first ever WrestleMania, now WWE’s flagship show, pitting Orndorff and Piper against Hogan and Mr T. The last team won the match.
They then clashed again in 1996 in a storyline involving the legendary nWo faction, with Piper defeating Hogan, although he later lost a title match against the same man.
When Piper returned to WWE in 2003, he attacked Hogan again, with the rivalry going down as one of the most famous in company history.
Speaking about Piper’s death on an episode of WWE Legends, Hogan said: “I felt like I was shot in the chest with a cannon. It knocked me out for a few days.
“It was really weird because I got this voicemail message, or my phone was messed up. That really scared me, when I got a voice message from someone after the death.’
The message was also played out loud during the episode.
Piper and Hogan were both involved in a match at the very first WrestleMania forty years ago

Hogan has been quite a controversial figure lately and has made a number of claims that fans have questioned.
He once suggested that Mike Tyson was ‘scared’ of facing him in a boxing match, claiming he would write his movie scripts.
The former champion is making sporadic appearances in WWE today now that his in-ring career is over, with fans divided on their opinion of the 70-year-old.
