A caravan containing a young family of five was stolen from a holiday park, along with the car pulling the caravan.
A man and a woman, along with their three children, aged six to 12, were sitting in their caravan in Hughenden, in central Queensland, on Monday evening around 9pm when they heard the car start.
When the caravan started moving, the family was able to get out before the perpetrator drove away with it.
As a precaution, the family was taken to hospital.
Earlier that day, the car keys were reportedly stolen from the caravan.
The police have now found the car and the caravan and the investigation is still ongoing.
