Hugh Sheridan is ‘snubbed’ from bestie Rebel Wilson’s wedding to Ramona Agruma in Sardinia as he posts from Sydney – after he detailed fallout with the pair who he set up

Hugh Sheridan did not attend his former best friend Rebel Wilson’s wedding to Ramona Agruma after detailing his huge falling out with the couple.

The Australian actor, 39, recently claimed he is no longer speaking to comedian Rebel, 44, and Ramona, 40, and was not invited to their Italian wedding despite being the one who set the couple up.

And Hugh was away from the couple’s wedding in Sardinia this weekend, when he notably posted a series of videos from Sydney to Instagram.

Just hours before the couple were set to get married, Hugh shared videos of himself taking a nighttime boat ride around the Harbor Bridge and Opera House.

“It’s corny and seedy, but trust me, I love the simple life,” he captioned the videos, referencing his song titled Give Me the Simple Life.

Ny Breaking Australia has contacted Hugh for comment. Rebel representatives declined to comment.

Rebel and fashion designer Ramona said “I do” on Saturday during a romantic ceremony in Sardinia, an island in the Mediterranean Sea, according to People.

A source previously told DailyMail.com that they planned to exchange vows in front of just their “close friends and family” during the intimate destination affair.

It was the perfect fairytale location for the couple to exchange vows while on holiday in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, just days after going Instagram official with their 2022 romance.

The Pitch Perfect actress and her partner were reportedly set to get married in a beach wedding in 2025, but Rebel decided to push the date forward.

The couple first met in 2021 and announced their engagement in February 2023. They also share daughter Royce Lillian, who turns two in November.

Hugh recently revealed that he was the one who introduced Rebel and Ramona, who he was friends with individually before realizing the two would be great for each other.

However, earlier this month Hugh opened up about his shock row with his former best friend Rebel, saying he wasn’t invited or told of her Italian wedding plans.

During The Kyle and Jackie O Show, host Kyle Sandilands asked Hugh if he would travel to Italy to attend Rebel and Ramona’s wedding.

‘No, I wasn’t even told about that. I did indeed send them a message [but I didn’t hear back]’, the singer responded. “Look, I don’t even know them anymore.”

“Did you do something wrong?” Kyle asked in surprise before Hugh admitted he had “no idea what happened.”

“I even gave them both the little Tiffany’s necklaces on their first date and they still wear them,” Hugh continued.

‘I just hope everything goes well for Rebel. It does worry me because I went to court here for her and we were really great friends.

“I introduced her to Ramona and stuff like that. I just want her to have good people around her.

“And I’m worried because I feel like before I was probably one of the few people who would be there for her, and now with the silence and everything, I just want to make sure she’s okay, but I I’m sure. she’s doing well.’

Hugh also revealed how he introduced Rebel to his assistant and now ‘she doesn’t talk to me either’.

Hugh previously told how he ‘played Cupid’ for Rebel by setting her up with Ramona in 2021.

‘In my spare time I am a bit of a matchmaker. I have a few weddings there,” Hugh said in a previous radio appearance on 2Day FM.

‘Both were very difficult to set up. Ramona is very smart, and Rebel is very smart.

“I was in New York with my ex and feeling really sad, and Rebel said she can’t imagine how I feel because she’s never been in love before!”

“I thought, ‘Gosh, that’s hard to crack.’ So I immediately thought of Ramona.”

Hugh said in April last year that he had not met Rebel’s daughter Royce Lillian, who she welcomed with Ramona via a surrogate.

“I’ve been working hard since the end of last year – we’ve done Solitary Man, we’ve filmed Five Bedrooms and released Back to the Rafters – it’s been really busy but really rewarding,” the star told The Daily Telegraph at the time. .
