Hugh Jackman’s estranged wife Deborra-Lee Furness was spotted on Saturday, just one day after announcing the end of their marriage after 27 years together.
The actress, 67, presented a casual look in a short-sleeved red flannel worn over a white long-sleeved top and capri pants as she walked around New York City with her dog.
She wore a cream-colored fedora and purple-tinted round sunglasses to hide her face from the sun.
She wore a pair of black Celine platform sandals and continued without her wedding ring.
The Beautiful star seemed to be in better spirits despite the split – which Hugh admitted TMZ It has been a difficult time for both of them.

On Friday, Furness and her longtime husband issued a joint statement confirming their separation.
She and the Wolverine actor announced they would be filing for divorce after nearly three decades of marriage.
“We are blessed to have had a beautiful, loving marriage together as husband and wife for nearly three decades,” they said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE.
“Our journey is now changing and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth,” the couple explained as the reason for ending their marriage.
“Our family is and always will be our top priority,” the statement continued. “We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love and kindness.”
They also added, “We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition throughout our lives.”
The Australian couple share two adult children together: son Oscar, 23, and daughter Ava, 18.
Last April, the couple celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary and Jackman posted a sparkling tribute to his wife on Instagram.
“I love you Deb. Today is our 27th wedding anniversary. 27 years! I love you so much,” the actor wrote in his caption.
‘Together we have created a beautiful family. And life. Your smile, your spirit, generosity, humor, boldness, courage and loyalty are an incredible gift to me. I love you with all my heart,” he shared in the heartfelt post.

A few months earlier, in February, Jackman revealed the secret of their long-lasting marriage while appearing on Smooth Radio.
“I think honesty, intimacy and making time (are the secret to a long and happy marriage),” he said at the time. ‘You can’t just assume that everything will go well. You have to make time.’
Jackman was also seen in public on Saturday – the first time since news of their divorce broke.
The actor had already ditched his wedding ring and was spotted with a bare finger on his left hand.
Jackman briefly spoke to paparazzi around town and admitted that he and his soon-to-be ex-wife are struggling with their divorce.
As he walked down the street, he said, “It’s a difficult time,” but declined to talk further about the breakup.
