Hugh Jackman hit the gym early Saturday morning and shared a short video clip of his workout on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).
In it, the 55-year-old The Greatest Showman star lifted an impressively heavy set of weights to work his biceps.
The video showed how hard his muscles were straining – all the veins in them were bursting.
The X-Men actor is preparing to reprise his role as Wolverine, a role he’s played since 2000 – and he recently shared his shocking diet.
He captioned the video: “No days off – except tomorrow. #becomingwolverineagain.”

Jackman is training to play Wolverine again in Deadpool 3 alongside his good friend Ryan Reynolds, 47.
The 6-foot-2 Australian actor follows a very strict and lean diet to slip into the brutal costume of the live-action Marvel superhero.
Last week he showed off what he ate to get the muscular yet lean body for the role.
One of his diet meals consisted of just three very small slices of fish, some steamed asparagus and a slice of lemon.
Another was just a slice of fish and some beans.
And a third meal consisted of nothing more than a dollop of cottage cheese and chopped broccoli.
In general, men need about 2,500 calories a day to maintain their weight, which suggests Hugh will once again be bulking up to play the legendary cartoon character.
However, last year Hugh revealed he was consuming up to 8,000 calories a day to ensure his body was in top shape to play the iconic superhero.

Last year, Hugh revealed that it took him six months of hardcore training to physically prepare for his return as Wolverine.
“I don’t do any other work,” Hugh declared to Chris Wallace in Who’s Taking to Chris Wallace. Complex. “I’m going to be with my family and train. That will be my job for six months.’
Hugh began playing Wolverine in the first X-Men film in 2000 and the character’s enormous popularity led to him reprising the role in several sequels and spin-offs.
Deadpool 3 is scheduled for release later this year.
