Hugh Jackman has revealed that it will take him six months of hard training to physically prepare for his return as Wolverine in Deadpool 3.
The 54-year-old X-Men star, who recently stepped up his ‘feud’ with friend-foe Ryan Reynolds, addressed Who’s Taking to Chris Wallace this week and opened up about the amount of time and dedication it takes to become the iconic mutant. .
Jackman is set to reprise his most famous role for Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool 3, first getting claws in 2017’s Logan.

“I’m not doing any other work,” Hugh told Chris Wallace, according to Complex. ‘I’m going to be with my family and train. That will be my job for six months.
The A-lister currently stars in The Music Man on Broadway and revealed the advantage of his grueling schedule, which has him performing eight shows a week.
“And I’m really fit right now,” Jackman said. ‘There’s one thing about eight shows a week singing and dancing on Broadway is that I’m in shape. So I’m healthy. I have a good place to start.
“I’ve learned that you can’t rush it,” he added. I have learned that it takes time.
