“We actually called you by accident, it’s ridiculous. Seriously, this is not a stabbing,” Kyle told Deborra-Lee during the conversation.

“We didn’t mean to actually call you. But now that you’re here, we won’t go into it. We love you, we hope you are doing well.”

‘Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. You’re very sweet,” she replied.

Kyle continued, “I just feel like it’s too soon. I don’t want to get involved in anything. But we love you, and you call us when you want to talk.”

‘Thanks guys. I really appreciate it,” Deborra-Lee, an Australian actress, said before hanging up.

In mid-September, Deborra-Lee and Hugh shocked their fans when they announced they were divorcing after 27 years of marriage.

“We are blessed to have had a beautiful, loving marriage together for almost three decades. Our journey is now changing and we have decided to part ways to pursue our individual growth,” the couple said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE earlier this month.

‘Our family is and will remain our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family goes through this transition.”

The former couple signed the statement as “Deb and Hugh Jackman,” adding, “This is the only statement either of us will make.”

The Australian couple share two children together; Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18.

Last April, the couple celebrated their anniversary and Jackman posted a sparkling tribute to his wife on Instagram.

“I love you Deb. Today is our 27th wedding anniversary. 27 years! I love you so much,” the actor wrote in his caption.

‘Together we have created a beautiful family. And life. Your smile, your spirit, generosity, humor, boldness, courage and loyalty are an incredible gift to me. I love you with all my heart,” he shared in the heartfelt post.
