Hugh Jackman cries ‘tears of joy’ after Australian loses bet and is forced to get the Wolverine star’s name tattooed on his hairy behind

Hugh Jackman has shared a video of an Australian man who lost a bet and got his name tattooed on his butt.

Footballer Aaron Woods made the bet with Hugh’s childhood friend Gus Worland, who co-hosts the radio show The Rush Hour with Gus & Jude.

The pair had bet earlier that week that the Roosters would win a football match. If the Roosters won, Woods would have to get the tattoo.

They did indeed win and Woods made good on his bet by going to Bondi Ink Tattoo in Bondi Beach, Sydney, on Monday to get the tattoo done.

Worland went along and laughed at Woods’ hairy butt, shaving it caused hilarity.

The inking was captured on the radio show’s Instagram page, with Woods showing off the results at the end.

Hugh captioned the images with a tearful smile emoji.

Worland and Jackman are best friends and Jackman was happy to post the video to his own Instagram Stories on Monday.

Jackman and Ryan Reynolds hilariously hijacked the popular Australian radio show last week while promoting Deadpool & Wolverine.

Australian actor Hugh, 55, was disappointed when he didn’t have time to travel Down Under due to his busy press schedule for the latest Marvel action film.

But that didn’t stop him from hilariously surprising his best friend of 50 years, Worland, live on his Triple M and LiSTNR radio show The Rush Hour on Friday.

Gus and his co-host, former AFL star Jude Bolton, opened the airwaves to calls from listeners, but Wolverine star Hugh chimed in on the other end.

The radio hosts were in stitches when Hugh answered the phone and joked that the only way he could talk to Gus was to call him at his workplace.

They then quizzed Hugh about who his best friend really is. He and his 47-year-old co-star Ryan have become famous for calling themselves best friends during their promotional tour.

Hugh reassured Gus, saying, “I may say on camera that we’re best friends, but you know I don’t mean it that way.”

To which Gus replied, “I hope you don’t mean that, I’m honestly getting a little jealous.”

Hugh then got involved, claiming he only became friends with Ryan because of his impressive bank balance.

He joked, “Gussy, I’m not shallow at all, but have you seen how much money Ryan has? It’s like a different league!”

Hugh and Gus have been fast friends since they first met at the age of five, when they were paired up by their teacher at Pymble Public School in the 1970s.

Their friendship has lasted for more than fifty years and the couple often go out and on holiday together.
