Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster confirm their romance as they hold hands on dinner date in Los Angeles
Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster appeared to make their relationship official when they were spotted out for dinner on Monday night.
The 56-year-old X-Men star and the 49-year-old Broadway veteran were seen holding hands and grinning from ear to ear in new photos while enjoying a night out in Santa Monica, California.
The outing comes on the same day that Jackman was reportedly planning to go ‘public’ with his new ‘girlfriend’ in the near future.
The new couple follows Hugh and his estranged wife Deborra-lee Furness’ announcement in September 2023 that they were splitting after 27 years of marriage.
In the photos, Jackman looked casual-cool in a charcoal zip-up jacket that he wore over a sleek gray sweater and tan chinos with black sneakers.
He also had a wild salt-and-pepper beard and wore his hair rougher than usual.

Sutton went for a more elegant look with a long, double-breasted cashmere overcoat.
It featured interesting details normally reserved for military wear and classic trench coats, including a storm flap over her left shoulder and epaulettes on her shoulders.
The Music Man star wore a beautiful dark green maxi dress underneath that flowed elegantly and reached her ankles.
She wore her shoulder-length brunette locks styled pin-tight, and she finished her look with a pair of classic black pumps.
As Hugh and Sutton walked along the sidewalk, their hands were firmly clasped, occasionally turning to look into each other’s eyes.
The former costars seemed to be having a good time as they were seen smiling broadly and laughing together.
Reps for Jackman and Foster did not immediately comment on their night out together.
Their appearance comes after the Logan star attended a performance of Foster’s production of Once Upon A Mattress in Los Angeles this weekend, which had just transferred after wrapping up a New York run in late November.

Jackman isn’t the only one to have recently ended a marriage, as Foster filed for divorce from her husband, 53-year-old Ocean’s Eleven screenwriter Ted Griffin, last October; seen in June 2022 in NYC
The two stars had previously shared the stage on Broadway when they starred in a critically acclaimed production of the classic musical The Music Man.
Jackman isn’t the only one to recently end a marriage, as Foster filed for an uncontested divorce from her husband Ted Griffin last October.
She had been married to the 53-year-old screenwriter of Ocean for ten years.
Foster and Jackman have been inundated with rumors in recent months that an affair between the two has destroyed their marriage.
Fans had noted how close they seemed to be in their off-stage interactions while appearing together in The Music Man, but Furness seemed to believe the rumors when she liked an Instagram post in October from a gossip blogger who claimed her husband Us Weekly reported she had “eloped with the mistress” and was planning a “soft launch” of their relationship.
A source told DailyMail.com in October that Furness had suspicions of an affair, but was still “blindsided when she heard about the affair.”
They described the alleged affair as “Broadway’s worst-kept secret,” adding that “Deborra-Lee was the last to know.”
According to a report from RadarOnline, Furness was particularly upset about the behavior of Jackman’s close friend Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively, as they reportedly “remained silent” about the rumored affair.

Following Jackman and Furness’ split, the former couple shared a statement about their breakup.
“We are blessed to have had a beautiful, loving marriage together as husband and wife for nearly three decades. Our journey is now changing and we have decided to part ways to pursue our individual growth,” they announced.
“Our family is and will remain our top priority,” they continued. “We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition throughout our lives.”
