Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness were reportedly on ‘different pages’ before confirming their shock split last month after 27 years of marriage.
According to ANDthere “is no animosity” between the Marvel star, 55, and the actress, 67, because they “felt like this was the right time to divorce.”
“Hugh and Deborra-Lee are both on different pages and chapters of their lives,” an insider told the publication.
‘They felt it was time to part, but they still maintain a happy and cordial friendship.’
The source went on to say that Hugh and Deborra-Lee are “valuable for their many years together and children.”

“Ultimately, it was their collective agreement to go their own way and do what was healthiest for everyone involved,” she added.
Hugh and Deborra-Lee shocked fans when they announced they were divorcing last month.
“We are blessed to have had a beautiful, loving marriage together for almost three decades. Our journey is now changing and we have decided to part ways to pursue our individual growth,” the couple said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE.
‘Our family is and will remain our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family goes through this transition.”
The former couple signed the statement as “Deb and Hugh Jackman,” adding, “This is the only statement either of us will make.”
The couple tied the knot in 1996 after crossing paths on the set of Correlli in 1995.
Over the course of their marriage, they adopted two children: son Oscar, 23, and daughter Ava, 18.

According to US Weekly, the Wolverine star is currently in the early stages of writing his amazing book.
His new memoir will include details about his life and ‘bombshell’ revelations.
“Hugh is now choosing to write this book because he is finally being honest with himself (and) about the divorce,” an insider said.
‘The content will be Hugh talking about his life. He will talk about his life like never before.’
