Hugh Grant makes his first appearance as Frosties mascot Tony the Tiger in the trailer for Jerry Seinfeld’s new comedy film about the Pop Tart origin story.
The Notting Hill actor, 63, stars in the upcoming film, called Unfrosted, as a struggling Shakespearean actor playing the Frosties character.
The Netflix film stars comedy greats Jerry Seinfeld, Amy Schumer and Melissa McCarthy with a smaller role from Hugh Grant.
It tells the story of the battle between cereal giant Kellogg’s and Post to create a breakfast pastry in the 1960s, resulting in the pop tart.
Tony the Tiger is Grant’s second strange role in a few months after starring in Wonka as Oompa Loopma.

In the trailer, Grant can be seen in the fluffy Tony costume with the head removed, while in another clip he looks extremely unamused while wearing a gray suit and bright yellow shirt.
The actor has previously said he is now drawn to ‘weirder and weirder’ as he enters the ‘freak phase’ of his 40-year career.
The first trailer of the long-awaited film was released on Thursday.
Seinfeld not only stars in the film, but he also wrote, directed and produced the film.
Also on the writing team were Spike Feresten and Barry Marder. The script was inspired by a joke that Jerry later deconstructed in a piece for The New York Times.
The film will be released on Netflix on May 3.
“I was sitting at home watching endless sad faces on TV and I thought this would be a good time to create something based on pure silliness,” Seinfeld said Deadline.
“So we took my Pop-Tart stand-up bit from my last Netflix special and turned it into a giant, crazy comedy.”

Seinfeld recently signed a global deal to stream his most famous work to date, his self-titled 30-minute sitcom Seinfeld, for five years, starting later this year.
In the NYT video, Jerry briefly discussed his writing style and gave a glimpse into the process of crafting the perfect joke.
