Hugh Grant responds to RHONY star Luann de Lesseps’ claim they ‘heavily’ made out with each other: ‘Steady on!’

Hugh Grant has broken his silence on RHONY star Luann de Lesseps’ claim that they “heavily kissed” in the Hamptons.

Earlier this month, the OG cast member of The Real Housewives of New York City, 59, revealed that she kissed the Four Weddings and a Funeral star, 64, during a drunken night in the Hamptons.

She later admitted that she orchestrated the romantic encounter by bumping into the star on purpose before suggesting they take photos.

Grant shared a screenshot of a People article detailing De Lesseps’ revelations, writing on X: ‘Stable on. I still remember meeting a charming RHNY at a restaurant, but I want to emphasize that it was about 15 years ago.

“I don’t remember shots or kisses, but her memory might be better than mine.”

De Lesseps quickly responded with a “Literally crying laughing” meme

In 2009, de Lesseps was newly single after divorcing first husband Alexandre after 16 years of marriage.

While performing Never Have I Ever with Andy Cohen, 56, on Watch What Happens Live, de Lesseps made the shocking revelation for the first time: ‘To remind Hugh Grant?’ and Cohen quickly replied, “Well, but nothing happened.”

De Lesseps blurted out, “Well, making out,” and Cohen responded, “Wait, was I there?”

The Countess said, “No, but Jimmy Fallon does,” as the game came to an end.

In an interview with Too fantastic during her Marry F Kill! cabaret tour, she went on to explain how she decided to visit Pierre’s restaurant after a friend told her the actor was there.

She said: ‘I called and said, ‘Take the table next to Hugh Grant’. I had my family visiting, my brother was visiting and I said, ‘Let’s go.’

Using ‘flirting’ she bumped her chair into him and then apologized profusely.

She said: ‘I say, “I’m so sorry. Can I give you a chance? I feel terrible.” He says, “Okay, but I’ll come and have a shot with you if you do one with me.”

She said the couple ended up “taking pictures and making out… heavily at the table.” My brother said, ‘I can’t believe you’re making out with Hugh Grant,’ and I said, ‘Me neither.’
