Hugely popular Netflix star unrecognisable while filming her new project in Melbourne
One of Netflix’s biggest stars has been spotted unrecognizably in Australia.
Phoebe Dynevor, star of the streamer’s mega-hit Bridgerton, was photographed in Melbourne last weekend in full dress.
Her hat and Ugg boots were a stark departure from the period costumes that fans are more likely to associate with the 29-year-old British actress.
Phoebe, who plays Daphne Bridgerton in the steamy drama, hid her signature auburn locks as she walked through Victoria’s rainy weather.
She had a fake baby bump for the scene in her shark thriller filming near Melbourne.
The actress collaborated with Gladiator star Djimon Hounsou on scenes from the $30 million blockbuster.
Filming also took place in the Macedon Ranges in Victoria, with production set to take place in Canterbury, in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, and at Docklands Studios.
Although few details about the film are known, locals now refer to the mysterious thriller simply as “the shark movie.”

The film is about a community that deals with shark attacks during a hurricane, The Hollywood Reporter previously reported.
Phoebe will star in the film opposite Whitney Peak, who played Zoya Lott in the recent remake of Gossip Girl, and Djimon Hounsou, who starred opposite Russell Crowe in Ridley Scott’s epic film Gladiator.
The as-yet-untitled film is being produced by Adam McKay and Kevin Messick’s company HyperObject Industries, known for Don’t Look Up, The Big Short and the popular drama series Succession.
The film is directed by writer Tommy Wirkola, whose previous credits include the horror film Dead Snow and the Jeremy Renner thriller Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters.

According to Colin Brooks, Victoria’s Minister for Creative Industries, the film has received support from the state government through the Victorian Screen Incentive Program and will create approximately 700 local jobs.
According to reports, the production will inject $30 million into the local economy.
Before Phoebe appeared in front of the camera, she took some time to meet the native wildlife at Silky Oaks Lodge in Queensland.
The English star shared a series of photos on Instagram showing her playing with kangaroos, watching crocodiles and enjoying the tropical rainforest.
“We had a magical experience staying at @silkyoakslodge in the oldest rainforest in the world,” Phoebe wrote.

This comes after Phoebe recently confirmed her engagement to American actor and influencer Cameron Fuller.
