Huge fire erupts at Moscow residential building with hundreds evacuated as Vladimir Putin’s interview with Tucker Carlson is broadcast

These are the shocking videos that appear to show Russia on fire – just as Tucker Carlson’s interview with Vladimir Putin aired.

Flames are seen ripping through a six-storey building in Moscow, with its roof completely engulfed in flames.

You see sparks flying across the snowy streets as fire trucks line up outside.

The building – which resembles a huge apartment building in the northwest of the city, 16 kilometers from the Kremlin – has been completely destroyed by the fires.

Hundreds of residents are said to have been evacuated as images on social media showed a helicopter dumping a huge torrent of water on the fire but failing to extinguish it.

One video, showing the fire, claims a resident can be heard saying, “House is on fire. They didn’t turn it off for half an hour. Finally they do.

Hundreds of residents were said to have been evacuated when images on social media showed a helicopter dumping a huge torrent of water on the fire.

‘But it’s already over. It’s…our house is damned.’

The building also appears to house shops, with cafes, hearing care professionals and a lawyer all considering it their base.

Ambulances and police vehicles could be seen at the scene, in addition to fire trucks with crane equipment.

A wider view of the city showed the skyline illuminated in orange as flames rose high above the buildings.

It comes as Vladimir Putin criticized the West during a highly anticipated interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

The two-hour show was posted on Carlson’s website, the Tucker Carlson Network, shortly before 6 p.m. Thursday.

Putin was allowed to go unchallenged for a long time as he gave an extensive history lesson on Russia dating back to the year 800.

The 70-year-old despot scandalously claimed he was ready to sign a deal to end the war with Ukraine 18 months ago, but Boris Johnson threw the deal into disarray.

Tucker Carlson’s highly anticipated interview with Vladimir Putin produced a number of bombshell claims

He also said it was “out of the question” that Russia would invade Poland or Latvia – claiming they “simply have no interest” in expanding the war in Ukraine.

It is the first time Putin has spoken to an American journalist since before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine nearly two years ago.

The Kremlin said Putin agreed to the Carlson interview because the former Fox News host’s approach differed from the “one-sided” coverage of the conflict in Ukraine by many Western news media.

Throughout the interview, Putin bizarrely rotated his left foot, reigniting speculation about the dictator’s health.

The Kremlin leader has been dogged by claims of declining health long before he ordered his invasion of Ukraine

But in the eighteen months since, the rumors have only increased as the war appears to have taken its toll.

Other footage from rallies and appearances shows Putin gripping a table for support, tapping his feet apparently uncontrollably and looking unsteady as he walks.

In September, Putin appeared to suffer from a shaking leg during a meeting with Kim Jong Un.

Carlson, 54, announced he would interview the Russian leader earlier this week, and the interview will go live on X tonight at 6 p.m.

Putin boasted during the call with Tucker Carlson that Russia has “created hypersonic systems” that are now “ahead of everyone.”

As the leaders sat at a Russian space base for talks, video footage shows Putin repeatedly lifting and lowering his left foot as his knee dips inward — a move he repeats in the Carlson interview.

Putin later adjusted his position in the chair, but his left foot appeared to continue flexing erratically as the North Korean leader told him he was waging a “holy war” with the West and that their two countries would fight together against “imperialism” .

Carlson is believed to have close ties to former US President Donald Trump, who is expected to be the Republican Party’s candidate in November’s presidential election.

Trump has called for a de-escalation of the war in Ukraine and has complained about the billions of dollars in aid sent so far.

However, the Biden administration has strongly supported Ukraine and President Volodymyr Zelensky.
