A vicious brawl reportedly broke out in the stands of Dodger Stadium during Los Angeles’ playoff game against the San Diego Padres on Saturday evening.
The Dodgers fought back and earned a 7-5 victory over their California rivals in the opening game of the NLDS on Saturday night.
But while tensions ran high on the field in the play-off thriller, the atmosphere among the fans was just as charged and the heat came to a boil.
According to a spokesperson, a huge brawl broke out in the stands fan, Josh Gitt, on social media who claimed the incident took place in the queue in front of him.
Two Padres fans allegedly punched a Dodgers fan and knocked him unconscious, causing blood to splatter all over the floor.

The bleeding Dodgers fan reportedly had to be helped, while the Padres fans were reportedly ejected.
Photos shared on social media by Gitt, who witnessed the incident, showed blood stains on one of the chairs and on the floor, while spilled popcorn was scattered across the concrete floor.
It is currently unclear whether any arrests have been made. DailyMail.com has contacted the LAPD for comment.
The incident is just the latest in a wave of fan violence that has swept through American sports in recent years.
The NFL in particular has suffered an epidemic of fan fights in stadiums across the country in recent seasons.
