How’s the influencing career going? Brooke Warne mocked for ‘desperate’ sponsored post spruiking truck stop convenience stores

Brooke Warne recently shared a clip of herself advertising truck stops as part of her new influencer career, and was immediately ridiculed by fans.

Shane Warne’s eldest daughter, 27, posted the video to Instagram, which shows her doing paid advertising for AMPOL Foodary stores.

“September is a busy working month for me, and sometimes I don’t have time to prepare my own food. Luckily, I have an AMPOL Foodary near me,” Brooke said.

The influencer then told fans about the supermarket’s competitive prices on sandwiches and drinks and encouraged them to shop there too.

“I love this chicken sandwich and Coke Zero! Yummy, all charged up! Let’s see what’s on the @ampolfoodary Crave N’ Save menu!” she wrote.

Many of Brooke’s followers were quick to respond in the comments, mocking her for the “desperate” sponsored post.

“Lol, so desperate. Get a real job!” someone snapped, with a second user adding: “Do you work like others? Haha.”

Meanwhile, someone else asked her if the sandwich was “fresh” to eat, and Brooke enthusiastically responded, “I’m so picky about my sandwiches, but honestly, these are the best easy to grab and go. I wouldn’t say it if it wasn’t delicious.”

However, others supported Brooke, like her mother Simone Callahan and Booby Tape founder Bianca Roccisano, who posted love hearts and applause emojis.

Brooke has been working hard on her social media career this year.

In June, she indicated that she hoped to work as a travel influencer.

Previously she made a name for herself as a fashion influencer, and lived Australian Fashion Week in May, along with a host of stars.

She is the eldest child of legendary cricketer Shane, who died suddenly on March 4, 2022, of a suspected heart attack at the age of 52 while on holiday in Thailand.

Brooke, along with her siblings Jackson, 25, and Summer, 22, founded The Shane Warne Legacy foundation in 2023.

It offers free heart disease screenings to all Australians.
