If you’re wondering how to watch the Future Games Show at Gamescom tonight, we’ve got all the most relevant information for you. We’ve also got some key details on who’s hosting the show, what games are confirmed to be appearing, and more.
Getting to the important stuff, you can check out the Future Games Show at Gamescom, hosted by Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 (to give it its full name) tonight, August 21st, at 4pm ET / 1pm PT / 8pm GMT / 10pm CEST. It will be streamed on YouTube, Twitching, Facebook, X, TikTok, GamesRadarBiliBili, and more – no matter what platform you use, the showcase will be there. For your convenience, we’ve embedded the YouTube link below.
But what will there actually be to see? Well, for starters, there are some great hosts guiding you through the whole thing: Alex McKenna (Sadie Adler in Red Dead Redemption 2) and Ned Luke (Michael De Santa in Grand Theft Auto 5) will steer the ship.
The Future Games Show at Gamescom will feature and cover a whole host of games for PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and PC. In total, there will be over 50 titles from the likes of 2K, Tripwire Presents, Plaion, Nacon and Rebellion – but that’s not all. Plus, there will also be an exclusive look at the second season of Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
Want to hear more about specific games? Well, we can tip you off about that too. Personally, I’m really excited to see more of Civilization 7 And Greed Trap 2 during the show. The former will feature an in-depth interview report from Firaxis Games, while the latter will reveal more about the mysteries of the game’s world, a world steeped in magic, lost secrets, and wild and exotic creatures.
Elsewhere, and alongside the announcement of new games, it’s been confirmed that the show will also feature the following games: Caravan ZandWitch, PVKK, The Explorer, SPINE, Bionic BayAnd Ghost line.
There will also be recurring segments like the “Indie Elevator Pitch,” where developers quickly pitch their games, and the “Ones to Watch” section, where the Future Games Show editorial team reveals what they’re most excited about. Even after the main show ends, there’s more! The official post-show broadcast, the Future Games Show Expansion Pack, will air immediately following the show and will feature developer interviews, special guests, and a few surprises.
If this has you excited – especially after Geoff Keighley’s Opening Night Live presentation yesterday – tune in later today at 4pm ET / 1pm PT / 8pm GMT for the Future Games Show presentation at Gamescom.
