How to watch Konami’s new Silent Hill Transmission stream

Konami returns to the cursed city of Silent Hill on Thursday for a new livestream event, promising new looks at games in development and the upcoming film based on the venerable horror franchise. The latest Silent Hill Transmission will stream on May 30th at 4pm PDT/7pm EDT. You can watch it on the official Silent Hill YouTube channel.

The previous Silent Hill Transmission aired in 2022, and during that event Konami revealed a long list of projects based on the Silent Hill franchise. This also includes the remake of a fan favorite Silent Hill 2 from the Bloober team; a brand new entry in the series called Stille Heuvel f; And Silent Hill: Townfalla new game created in collaboration with publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer No Code (Stories untold, Observation).

Konami and its partners have released two Silent Hill projects since the 2022 livestream: Silent Hill: Ascensiona chaotic, crowdsourced interactive streaming series, and Silent Hill: the short messagea free game released for PlayStation 5.

The promised return of Christophe Gans as director of a Silent Hill film has yet to come. Gans’ new film, Return to Silent Hillwill be following the plot of closely Silent Hill 2, which tells the story of James Sunderland’s tortured journey to the title city to reunite with his late wife Mary. Actors Jeremy Irvine (War horse) and Hannah Emily Anderson (Puzzle) will star as James and “his one true love,” respectively. Anderson will likely play both James’ wife Mary Shepherd-Sunderland and her mysterious doppelgänger Maria.
