Activision has announced that it has a Duty: Next airing this week on October 5, where fans can delve deeper Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 from Sledgehammer Games and Infinity Ward, the direct sequel to Modern Warfare 2.

The livestream is expected to offer brand new details ahead of the game’s release on November 10 for PS5, Xbox Series

Call of Duty: Next takes place on Thursday, October 5 and airs at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST. It is currently unclear how long the broadcast will last, but given the agenda, we can expect it to be a long time.

Activision has confirmed that feature developers and community representatives will delve deeper into it Modern Warfare 3‘s multiplayer mode, along with a look at what’s next War zoneas well as the game’s Zombies mode, and updates for Duty‘s mobile games.

Open beta

Activision revealed that the Duty: Next livestream is a “prelude” to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer open beta on October 6 for PlayStation users.

It includes both a selection of 16 modernized Core cards, based on the cards featured in the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009), as well as new experiences in Ground War, and a collection of gear to try out.

If you pre-order a digital copy of the game you will get access and it will be split into two weekends. Depending on the platform you play on, start times will differ.
